Playing on a big field has never caused problems for University. They played on big and regulation sized fields in the Copa Acadiana, St. Louis, and Bayou Invitational tournaments and broke bracket in all three. They were also able to beat St. Thomas More on their large field. No time for games son, I've got a championship game to worry about! hmmmm

It will be like any final ... 2 teams will be very careful. I feel that the game will come to mistakes. One team will utilize a mistake and win the game. The team that is more focused and commits less or no mistakes will win it.
What will be the expected attendance for the game ?

Newman wins 3-1, Lebron James drops a triple double. LOL! Yall just will not leave this kid alone huh? Anyways, U-high wins it. They've just been playing too well to drop this one. That stat concerning Newman only giving up one goal in any game is pretty scary though. University 1 Newman 0

Another great final, but think Newman will be too quick and aggressive. Usdin is strong as is the fellow who plays all over the field, offense and defense. is he an athelete !

Its going to be hard for U-High to score more than 1 on Newman, with that being said, i don't think U-High will be able to stop Savoie(spelling?) from scoring atleast one. I say Newman 1-0 or 1-1 going to PKs. With Newman winning.

University is going to do what has yet to be done and score 2 on Newman. U-high is pumped from their semifinal game and are fully prepared to shut down Newman

Carlton Banks #22 for newman, will not even be an offensive threat in the game because the U-high style makes it hard for that to happen

Newman is going to win this game 2-0. No doubt in my mind, they will have all the confidence, experience and determination they need to make quick work of U-High by scoring one in the first 10-15 minutes. During Newman's soccer practices this week, their coach has the scoreboard set at Newman 0 Guest 1 to remind the team of last year's State Finals result against St. Thomas Aquinas. In most of Newman's big games this year against the top teams in the state regardless of division, Jesuit and LHS, Newman has played some of their best soccer. I see no reason why they will not step their game up here. Do not expect to see the same team that played NCS a couple weeks ago.

Newman probably would have been the number 3 or so team in the state. They will win.

If you say Newman is #3 in State, then who is your Top-5? They've definitely proven themselves against the DI powerhouses this year, but would you put them above Caddo and Catholic BR?
