newman 2-0 or 3-0 university plays about the best game of kickball around and anybody that honestly thinks thats whats going to win them a state championship obviously hasnt seen newman play Yeah, Uhigh played them in the beginning of the season, so they have definitely seen Newman. Uhigh was missing most of their starters and some of the bench, and lost 1-0, when newman was missing correct me if i'm wrong but i think 1 starter. Explain your reasonings for 2-0 or 3-0

These are probably the two teams that I am most familiar with in Division III (as I have played both multiple times each year throughout my high-school career). That said, I think that it will be a close game. These are two sides as different as any. While both are quite physical, Newman relies on a precision passing game, while U-High plays much more direct. On Newman: The losses of Waylon Boyd and David Martin have really hurt the Greenies ( a fact not evident through the mere viewing of scorelines, but through careful observation), and I would have to disagree with anyone who says that the same Newman team that beat Catholic and Lafayette at St. Paul’s will be playing in the championship on Friday. Newman’s central-defensive partnership of Guy and Jeff Hampton is capable of limiting Peters to very few quality looks at goal. Offensively, Usdin will threaten with his pace, and Savoie, being such a scrappy player, will inevitably earn his share of goal-scoring opportunities. I think that David Napoli is the key for Newman in this match. His ability to remain unrattled by the Cubs’ physical play and deliver quality service (from midfield) to Mason, Savoie, and Usdin is critical to Newman’s success in this final. On University: Riding high after a fantastic semi-final win over last-year’s nemesis, St. Thomas Aquinas, University will be confident in their ability to match the Greenies stride-for-stride. As usual, University should be favorite in nearly all dead-ball situations, with Major and Copeskey’s aerial prowess. I feel that University has a legitimate shot at winning this match, and the key will be the Cubs’ ability to frustrate Newman, through a combination of physical play and consistently tight marking. All things considered, I think Newman’s experience pulls them through. Newman 1 University 0

After playing both teams twice this year, Newman had it over EHS in gaining control over balls in the air, particularly headers. I do not think that will be the case against UHigh because they are very good in the air, particularly Major in midfield and on set plays. That said, Newman may be better at overall ball control and passing to set up scoring opportunities. It will be an interesting game but I give the edge to Newman because they probably can physically match up with UHigh and have overall better team ball handling skill. In a close one, 2-1 Newman if Newman can handle Peters.

I hear that U-high brought in a ringer from Mendoza, Argentina. Goes by the name Julio. My sources tell me he can kill a man with a soccer ball using his non-dominant foot from thirty five yards away. All i'm saying is, i wouldn't want to play the cubs tonight. Good luck guys, i'll be there. my ring size is a 10 1/2
