Have you tried to send an invite to bossier because i think we need to get in a tourny like this to get a little exposer throughout the state this year You were a couple of days too late... but I did put you guys on the waiting list in case a team drops in the next few weeks. Sorry.

St. Frederick had contacted me last week and I officially made them the last team tonight. I had to wait for a couple of teams that I had invited a while back to officially decline. St. Frederick was the next team that had contacted me and I am happy to have them in our great field of teams. I do have a waiting list of a few teams that had contacted me in the last week and I will try to confirm all of the teams officially in the next couple of weeks and try to avoid any last minute cancellations like last season. Now it comes down to praying for some great weather like last years tournament had.

Nice group of teams, Coach. Though I think Bossier would have been a better addition than St. Fred's. Looks like it will be a nice tournament. Still wish y'all would do one like this for girls.

I was going to be happy with either team. St. Fred's just beat them to it by a couple of days. Bossier is the next team in if a team has to drop in the next couple of weeks. I have been approached about doing a girls tournament too. A lot of the smaller schools like to travel together and this tournament would probably fare very well with a girls bracket too. Something else to think about for 2010-2011...

to early to tell but I think the top five or so teams will be St Louis, Vandy, Menard, Beau Chene, Teurlings, not in any order. Teams to watch, Episcopal, Alexandria, Deridder, and Westminster. Dark horses NLC, Ruston, and Neville. I know I must have left one or two teams out but it wasn't on purpose. I guess you can tell by my post that I have no clue who will win this, but the front runners will be my top five listed.
This IS the premier D2 &3 tournament in the state. If you are anywhere close you need to go watch this!! I know I'll be there, (oh and the food is really good there too!)

I think you left out Loyola, Goat. they have to be considered to be in the running for top spots in this tournament.

"I know I must have left one or two teams out but it wasn't on purpose.", Goat
Just knew someone would call me out for not naming a team, LOL. Good to see you back in the forum. I would have them as second tier in this tournament lcp, remeber they lost that real good kid that is a natural midfielder but played in the back for them last year, (leadership counts a lot for me), do you remember who I'm talking about?, LOL how is the young man?

I am currently putting the bracket to test with a couple of coaches to make sure they don't see any glaring competition problems with the make up of the groups. I will probably put them out next week and allow the weekends games to play out to make sure I didn't make any mistakes.

nice job. this is going to be a great tournament I can't wait. You did a good job with the brackets. That many good teams makes that job very hard I'm sure. I want to stidy the brackets a while before I pick who I think will break bracket.
