For those who don’t know about Derrick Tabb, he is the drummer for Rebirth Brass Band who decided to start a band of his own for our youth. Derrick is one of the ten nominees for CNN’s Hero of the Year but we need him to win the prize of $100,000.00 so he can continue helping our youth. Yon can read the story and vote at www.cnn.com/heros , it was also on the front page of the October 2nd Living section of the Times Picayune.
