The season lasts 8 weeks long and consists of a total of 8 games (6 regular season games and 2 post season games). For more information, please visit our website @ www.playmakersindoor.com Please double check with the LHSAA about this before proceeding. I don't have the exact handbook rules on me, but I am pretty sure that if this is done during the LHSAA School time rules and not the summer time rules, then you can not use a school name, colors, logo, etc... You also can not have a coach who will in total for a single year coach more than 6 students from his high school where he coaches. This is a total per year, students boy or girl, all coached club or any independent teams, any total of more than 6 in a year combined of all students from his high school coached. Any team formed with any of the above would be considered an independent team in violation of LHSAA rules. During Summer Rules, the LHSAA has NO RULES except dealing with football pads. Those rules start in Mid May and last until the 6th week of the NFHS calendar which is the 6th week from the first week of July (usually 2 week of August). That is why summer 7v7 leagues are a success... it goes under summer rules. Now if this is not done by grouping high schools together and is just a drafted league, it would be okay as long as the coaching aspect of the rules are not broken. Also as long as no teams go by their high school names, colors, or mascots. If you have any questions, get a ruling from LHSAA in writing via email (email Rhonda).

My son has played indoor soccer before and many of the soccer players complained about the indoor turf. A few of the players got hurt playing on the indoor turf. Be careful out there if you do play. I will not allow my son to play indoor soccer anymore after a few of the players were injured.
