Not sure where you are getting your wrong information from there dalglish? Player for player Northlake is the more skilled team and I have done my homework and yes they do play with passion and heart. It will be an interesting match up.

Player for player I feel that Northlake is a better team. BF really only has Vanja, Talmon and their GK Friedlander; everybody else just seems to do their job and kind of rely on those two to get the job done in the attacking third. I also agree that Vanja is also pretty overrated; he isn't aggressive in the air and he seems to be lost in the game time and time again. Although he has great individual technical skill and awareness, he tries to be too cute with the ball. This is coming from someone who has played against him before the past couple years and seen him develop as a soccer player since early club ball.

Not from what I've seen. #6 and #12 played a huge role in their win against Wesminster.

So although he has great awareness and technical skill, he still gets lost time and time again? It seems you are contradicting yourself.

I meant to say he has great awareness and technical skill ON the ball, off the ball he goes transparent.

I meant to say he has great awareness and technical skill ON the ball, off the ball he goes transparent. I kind of agree with this statement. Other than the decisive goal, he was well contained in their QF vs. University. He wasn't using his body well and wasn't very aggressive, either. Still, a player can be an MVP for being transparent for 80 minutes and scoring one goal. That's soccer.

Man, I am glad that no team has to travel for 400 miles this year over the mountain. I had to say that, noticing no one did.... ;D

Trash talking starting early? I rolled up to see "northlake Christian state champs" written on car parked in front of me! Motivational or overconfidence?

I'm wearing a white polo with black shorts. Tall handsome fellah with glasses and a goat, looks as if he could lose a few pounds. Probably will be sitting with Jack from Haynes and Dan from Lusher.
