Well if you heard him on the show or the prior post we will either get a show tonight and he will be singing the praises of the new sponsor or the show will not come on. Nothing in between from what he has been telling us. We shall see?

As of 4:30pm, no sponsors still. I will ask for an extension but I'm not optimistic.

Do you think if I put a donate button on my web page, people would pay to keep us on?

Do you think if I put a donate button on my web page, people would pay to keep us on? That would be a questioned best answered by the higher ups of the LHSSCA. If the show were to not go on tonight would you be able to revitalize it in the future if a new sponsor/s were to arise? Edit: Sorry, miss read your post. I thought you were asking to put the button on LAprep. I don't see a problem with you linking your page to this thread asking for donations.

When I show up to the studio they ask me for the money. If I have the money I sit by the microphone if I don't have the money I do not. Because we are talking about this donate button, I will pay the fee for tonight. Hopefully I will raise the money before my wife sees the checking account. I don't want to lose this show. If we don't air then the show gets cancelled. It's really that simple. I've personally paid for way too many shows and my wife has had enough. if I could quit my teaching job, I can raise the funds. It is a chicken and egg scenario. I really cannot take the risk of quitting my teaching job and losing our health insurance with my wife's medical conditions. Hopefully this donate button could solve the problem. Thank you for your support and God bless you.

They go to network to cover the air and then they sell the time slot to someone else. WIST's entire hosts and producers went off of the air and they are clawing to take our spot. It is a prime spot and I am blessed to have it.

I will put a button on my website's homepage also. I will pay for tonight in hopes, that if this is God's will, the money will be raised. If not, it is time to say goodbye.

Really hope you can find a sponsor. If not, would it be possible to do an internet broadcast that would essentially be free?
Hope the show goes well tonight - wish I could listen, but am stuck without a radio where I am.
I know this isn't sponsor related, but if the show does go on, would you be interested in having Brother Alphonse LeBlanc, father of Louisiana high school soccer, on the show at some point? I recently was in contact with him and think it would be great for everyone if he could speak about the beginnings of high school soccer.

Tonight, we will talk CONCACAF and how exciting it is. I paid for this week in hopes that when I can figure out how to put a paypal button on this thread, that everyone will step up and keep this spot on the air. God Bless You All and have a great Easter Octive.

Tonight's show is done with a heavy heart praying for those in Boston and their families. We will talk about the upcoming state championships in the LCSL. Call in to talk about either at 504-556-9696. By the way, we are on the air tonight thanks to the generosity of St. Louis High School in Lake Charles. God Bless all of the Saints who play for Coach Oertling.

Tonight we are off of the air and UNO Baseball will be on our spot. I have no sponsor for next week and I would hate for the spot to get gobbled up. Please, if you can get sponsors, we can stay on the air. Each show is $150 to $200 and an ad sells as little as $25 with the soccer audience of over 2,000 people statewide listening. I would hate to go off of the air. Ball is in your court for I can no longer pay for the show. Thanks again to St. Louis and Jason Oertling for sponsoring the last two weeks. God Bless You All.
