Division I District 3 Mid-Season All-District Team

Def: Credeur, J. Stinton (Aca), B. Ahrens (Sul), & A. Delayhousse (Cro)

Do ya'll find this team accurate, if not what changes would you make?

I can only go by teams I have seen.

Lafayette - Belfour, McNamara, Hardy, Pierce

Acadiana - LeBlanc, Wilts (sp), Goodwin, Credeur

Sulphur - Ahrens

you can't forget hofland, he is playing great soccer right now.

i think jacob broussard from comeaux will also be on it and casey friend from nish and #4 or #15 from westgate
there is too many from acadiana and lafayette on there and i a few from cro like menard broussard dalphry spillman delahoussaye and from sulphur probably just ahrens

all the players you mentioned are very good soccer players. i do think lafayette, and acadiana have the most talented squads, they also have the most select players as well. the coaches vote on this so i'm not sure who will win the honors, i do expect the majority of the first team to be mad up of mostly lafayette and acadiana players.

these are my offense picks, not nessessarily first team, just all district:belfour, mcnamara, and hardy from lafayette/leblanc from acadiana/broussard and menard from carencro/broussard from sulphur/and out of the other teams... i dont know many more

as far as defense goes:maybe st.cyr(however u spell it) from lafayette/credeur, hofland, and stinson from acadiana/delahoussaye from carencro/ahrens from sulphur/ and i dont know who else

No way St. Cyr should make all district. He has really come on the last couple of weeks, but he didn't play a whole lot until January. I think both he and Prejean will be all-district for the next two years, but not this year.

Note: I think Kevin Carter is even with M. LeBlanc for first team. I think LeBlanc will get it because he is a senior and Carter is only a soph.

Oh, I did misunderstand. I still think, of Prejean and St. Cyr, you would have to go with Prejean. He has been starting all season, and he still starts. St. Cyr has definitely improved more throughout the season, but I think right now they are about even.

Leblanc for AHS is only a junior, but I think he should be on there over Carter.

LeBlanc is only a junior? Seems like he has been playing forever. I guess people say the same thing about Belfour too, though.

I have watched C. Broussard from Sul play all year. No player has more heart or hustle but he has turned the ball over more than any player I have seen. He just won't give up the ball and make the pass when he's in trouble.TEXT
