It is difficult to go against Tradition, but I am going to side with the Wolves. The overall talent and skill is ever so slightly better @ SPS than the deepest bench soccer. I feel that Jesuit gets their seemingly always two balls in the back of the net, but SPS gets one more in OT, 3-2.

it has been mentioned before but one has to take into account that 2 key players for sps did not play the majority of the season, gutterman due to injury and robertson due to basketball. sps has a playoff game tonight vs scotandville that should result in a loss so robertson will be available. i think at least one other key player missed games due to injury. i can see this game going to PKs at 0-0.

1. SPS will be at full strength 2. SPS has a stronger bench 3. Moser makes better half-time adjustments 4. SPS has the better GK, back line 5. SPS has the quickest transition game
SPS 3-1

Jesuit will be a full strength 2. debatable 3. again, debatable 4. Better keeper, yes. Better backline, eh.......i don't think so. 5. debatable I feel both teams are even only advantage is St. Paul's size over Jesuit. Should be another battle.

Banks Street Bombers will return after last year's second half fold. Look for Tyler Hatrell and Evan Kramer to have good games. Hicks and Mansour will lead and J. Kepper will clear dangerous balls for the Jays. Jesuit by one.

Seen both defenses and watched our guys play against both (BM) scored 3 goals in 3 against Jesuit. Scored 1 goal in 3 games vs STP.
Conclusion: STP has a stronger and better back-line and keeper. NUFF SAID!!

The records and the results prove that these two teams are evenly-matched. It all comes down to who plays better for 80+ minutes. I see both teams being especially cautious not to get caught by a counter-attack, and an eventual 1-0 scoreline, possibly off of a set piece. If Jesuit is going to win they will need their best player and only returning starter Phil Hicks to be lights out in the back, which he is capable of doing. Although this game lacks the star power of last year's championship match, I predict a great game, a great crowd and a wonderful atmosphere at Tad Gormley Stadium.

Saturday evening's game is being predicted by the 21 pick 'em "experts" to be won by St. Paul's by a score (average) of 2-1. They expect the half-time score to be 1-1. They expect to see 3 cards issued during the game. They anticipate the game-winning goal to be scored in the 60th minute (although it's as early as 22nd minute and as late as the 105th). Bummed I can't be at this one. This matchup seems to have come a long way in the past four to five years. When I played at St. Paul's, Jesuit owned this matchup.
Was nice to see the Wolves get revenge for our 2007 title loss to the 'Jays last year. That 2007 game was my senior year.
Go Wolves!
