For those asking for breakdowns of teams, games, etc., here are just a few observations I could make from our little corner of the tourney. Didn't get to catch any other games because I was getting my butt inside between our team's games to keep warm. Glenmora: Episcopal of Acadiana. Dunham Westminster M. You all played a number of D-III schools from around the State. And you also played St. Charles Catholic early on in the season, so you may have some unique perspective that might shed some light on D-III. How did the teams above stack up with SCC...?

Hah, you're putting me on the spot. We play St. Charles again this weekend and I'd hate to inadvertently put any bulletin board material up, either for them this year or for one of the other teams next year (I don't think we'll run into any of the others this year according to our schedule and the other tourney we're in - Holiday Cup). The truth is when we played St. Charles it was the first game of the season and both teams had football players and swimmers missing. Also, we went into that game having played no scrimmages due to one cancellation and also one scrimmage and one game that we cancelled due to a tragedy involving a student athlete who was a very close friend and relative of several players. I'm not sure if St. Charles played any scrimmages. So take this with a grain of salt. I'm sure they are a very different team from when we played them and I know we were a different team by the time of the Copa. But, here's my take: I think Westminster and Dunham, in that order, are the two best teams we've played (D-II Morgan City would be close) so I'd give them the edge over St. Charles. (Again, by the 2nd half of the Westminster game were pretty decimated from the toll of the previous 4 games so it's a little hard to judge but I'd stick with them over SCC or anyone else we've played). I think I'd give St. Charles the edge over Glendmora. Episcopal of Acadiana and St. Charles I could see going ether way.
