I would like to see Episcopal this one, but I do believe Newman will win this 3-0. The artifical turf will be wet and that will play into Newmans advantage. Episcopal defense has gotten better towards the end of the season but Newmans passing will find the holes.

6 minutes into game. Newman's throw-in slips and lands short where the player making the throw in kicks it. That's a no-no.
Indirect kick for episcopal awarded. Player takes shot and Newman GK tries to block, touches it, and goal is awarded.
Episcopal 1, Newman 0.
14 minutes left in 1st half.

Wow, underdog ahead already. Really wanted to go see this, shame the weather isn't good for a potentially great game.

13 to go. Still 1-0.
Both teams have had some pops, but no conversion.

As expected, very close match. Score reflects slight advantages per half. In second it appeared that some players were trying to do more by themselves. It t worked and the offense put together some strong attacks. Steady Mist now. Back to game. Ot

My son texted me that the shot went right through the goalie's hands. Said Newman looks totally gassed. They subbed very little against us, so OT won't favor them

Wow. What a game! Congrats to Coach Chris. Enjoy bringing that first soccer state championship back to BR. I remember playing them 2 years ago in the semifinals and they put up a great fight. They really showed that fight tonight. I wish I could have been there to see this.
