5-0 SulphurBack8?? geez... I don't know where ya'll get ya'lls predictions from... but look at the sources and some are good and some are bad, but if CL comes out with the win, it's only going to be by 1 or 2... but those only 3 losses were to great teams and it's gonna be a fight in this upcoming game but the only thing I'm looking at is Vandy beat CL and Magnet tied Vandy... I know that doesn't mean anything, but that looks good... so it's gonna be a good game either way... Good Luck to BOTH teams.

CL has also beat Vandy at Vandy outside of tournament play 3-1... Always a top match with the 2 best teams in the area playing...Will be a great game to watch

Should CL even be favored ?
The game is in Shreveport, and look at these stats.
Caddo: In 23 games they have scored 98 goals (4+ per game)
In 23 games they have only given up 8 goals - that is unbelieveable
They have 15 shutouts, and the other 8 games have given up only 1 goal in each game.
Before you say they don't play anyone, they have played 6 games against top 10 teams and only given up 3 or 4 goals in all those games combined.
Not only can they beat CL, they have a chance to go all the way. This game could go either way.

Captain Shreve had similar, if not superior stats, right before they played a wildcard team. Central will probably win this one by 2.

From what I have been reading on this board, it looks like over confidence MIGHT be setting in. Jeez, you guys have blown up on the board this past week. I hope you don't overlook Caddo. Also, if you get past that game, which I believe you will, you probably get Jesuit. You better not take them lightly. They aren't the defending champ for nothing. I'm sure there won't be quite so much CL is the best talk before that game.

Who are the key players for CM and their jersey #s please: I've read other previous posts about #11 , what position he plays? Hey caddo magnet player... Nice try to act like CL is trying to get a roster of the Caddo Magnet players... You messed up when your told me about a correction needed on DI Playoffs. The correction had to be made on the Caddo Magnet game. Now my guess is you #11? The roster came straight off of Caddo Magnet's website 2.. copy and paste

Most of the talk on this message board is not from CL players. 1suckyplayer is on the freshman team and jbsoccer plays second string on jv. It is not any of the varsity players talking trash. I don't think CL will take Caddo lightly. They have an experienced team and know not to take anyone lightly. If the Trojans play up to their capabilities they will be hard to beat. I am a former trojan and I am not talking trash. Good luck to all teams.

I am not for either team but look at what district 1 did in the first round. Capt. Shreve with all the great stats got whipped. Caddo barely beat Grace King from district 7. District 7 went 0-4 in the first round. Airline went to PKs with W. Monroe and Ruston beat Byrd easily. You are lucky you got paired with district 2 and 7 otherwise you will all be out by now. CL wins by at least 2.

Yea... well I just found out that one of Magnet's center mids cracked a rib, so that's not good and hopefully it will still be a close game.

Oh... and I don't know who you play for futbol4ever but obviously you live down south, and of coarse going to root for southern teams... and there's nothing wrong with that... but when you said that about Shreve, it made me mad, because I can honestly say that Shreve and Magnet can hang with anybody in the state... The reason Shreve got "whipped" was because they pulled their starting keeper at halftime, hoping for him to score and get the game going; while he was up top, they put in their second string keeper, who was a lacrosse player who has never played soccer in his life... as for Magnet with Grace King... let's just say it was terrible... not just the field, but the game... and I can honestly say that that was the absolute worst field in the entire state... it should not be a place to play a STATE PLAYOFF game... but Magnet will come out hard, even with one of their starters gone with a cracked rib... good luck again to both teams!

Going to have to agree LaSoccer1317 on this one, the postage stamp (I mean um, pig sty) at Yenni made things difficult for both sides..particularly the more flowing, gracious style of Magnet. Moving around was difficult enough, easy 1-2 balls, and even simple give and go passes were usually stopped by the slop rather than a King defender. On a larger field, Magnet should prove a worthy adversary but CL is simply too great a force to be reckoned with, especially hearing the news of #11 (the tall blonde kid, fabulous touch) being riddled with a cracked rib. Magnet came out very strong last Friday and you could feel it on the field, so expect the same intensity again. Should be a great match!

Sorry if there were any misunderstandings but I said one of the center mids... #11 isn't hurt, it's #12, but #11 will work is butt off now that his companion is hurt, still thinking Magnet will try and upset CL... 2-1... that is if Russell isn't hurt either

Whoops, sorry about that, I misunderstood. If that's the case, he'll for sure have to work his butt off, just as he did Friday night. Real shame though, kid's a real class act and I wish him a speedy recovery.

It's alright man... anyways... I'm not real sure whether Russell will play; hopefully he will... he livens the game with his quick touch and fast speed

I too am sorry to hear of the injuries on Manget's team. I truly think they will have to come out strong and stay that way in order to have a decent chance. Unfortunately, I predict Magnet will not be up to the challenge. Good luck to both teams.

ok im sorry magnet but i totally disagree, i dont see you doing anything to beat lafouche, will wilson is the 2nd best player in state and he will dominate you guys. ive seen him play a couple times this year and he's great, really good speed, really good touch, really good ball control, and the best placement ive seen. besides, playing at indy will only help them with the speed they got, all they need is to work the ball wide. i predict 3 -0 lafouche

lafourche has been very good these past few years but one thing about playing in a large stadium is that just as many fans will show up as any regular game which means that there will be a lot of empty seats. plus if indy has high walls that could play greatly in magnets favor. all i am getting at is that playing in a place like that really makes it hard to realize where you are on the field. you lose most of your reference points because everything looks the same. i give a bigger than usual homefiield advantage than usual assuming that magnet has played there before. same goes for all other teams playing there.
