I know people are thinking, what is wrong with Lafayette High? It is the year following 2 state finals and the loss of 5 very talented seniors from last years team. Lafayette is still a Top 10 team, but not a top 5 team, in my opinion.
Their season has gone as follows: Losses: St. Thomas More - Rival game and 1st game of the season SSA - twice (ranked #1 - best team in the state) Northshore - Top 5 team Byrd - Top 10 team (3 starters missing due to college entrance exams) Ties: Dominican - Beat SSA Vandebilt - played all the best teams in Division I
They have been battle tested already. They will be in shape and ready to go come playoff time. Should be ranked around 7th when all is said and done in my opinion.

They have been battle tested already. They will be in shape and ready to go come playoff time. Should be ranked around 7th when all is said and done in my opinion. Brings up a great point. Lafayette still perfect At 0-5-1 (jk folks don't jump on me) and have district and Mt. Carmel left. Let's say they lose to MCA and a district rival like Acadiana that would put them at 5-7-1. Would that still get them in with power rankings (probably so) but no where near 7th seed. I would guess around 16-20 (currently ranked 40th). More victories by the teams that beat them will move them up each week. But how would you like to be the 8th seed and have to travel to Lafayette to play a 17th seeded Lafayette team in the 2nd round. YIKES!!! Katie will have this team ready for district and playoffs but a top 10 seed will probably be out of their reach unless they run the table here on out. Thoughts, opinions, let's hear them!!

Let's follow your scenario, Laffy loses to Acadiana, and beats the rest of the teams in our district. According to their schedule they only play 15 games. If for some reason the MCA game cannot be played (weather or something), they will not have the required 15 games played to qualify. Having only a 15 game schedule seems to be cutting it a little close to me. Or they are not worried at all about not winning the district.

Having only a 15 game schedule seems to be cutting it a little close to me. I don't think that should be an issue. District ends on Monday Jan 26th and that would give them a week to pick a game or two. May need to pick up some wins that week though to make a movement in power rankings.

What is the deadline date for scheduling additional games anyway? Last day to play would be 2/2/15 correct?

Handbook says that the games have to be added by 1/24. And yes, 2/2 is the last date for a game to be played.

Game stats Sulpher 3 Goals 2 assist 1st off a corner kick 2nd on nice thru ball 3rd on a PK tors take a total 31 shots 13 are on goal keeper makes 2 saves Cro takes 5 shots 2 are on goal keeper makes 11 saves
Carencro goalie was very impressive. I would guess of the 13 shots on goal, 4 more would have scored on an average keeper.
