This will be St. Louis' fifth championship game appearance, and third in a row. It will be St. Martin's four championship game appearance.
The two teams have met twice in the championship game. St. Louis won 4-0 in 1997. St. Martin's won 3-1 in 2002.

I like St. Louis in this game. I watched St. Martin in the finals of the St. Louis tourney and I was impressed. They were a good team, but I think St. Louis has too much fire power. I like St. Louis 3-1 or 4-1.

St. Louis should take this one. St. Martin's, when they play talented teams (i.e. Newman) seem to sit back and try and hold the score at 0-0 as long as possible. Against STL this won't work. Lapira will eventually break them down. I think they are going to have to capitalize of set pieces. I went to the OC game and that means whoever took the free kick on the second goal is probably going to have to come up with another moment of brilliance if St. Martin's is going to stand a realistic chance in this one. Final: STL 3 STM 1

Wow, nobody's picking St. Martin's. heh
I'd like to see STL 4 STM 0 , the same as the 1997 score ;D . Who knows, St. Louis's coach might actually try to hold the score at that if they get up to 4-0. If St Martin were to win though, I think it'd be one of the biggest upsets of the year, all divisions.

Coming into the season, I thought only Newman or STA would be able to knock off ST. Louis. Now, after having watched STL on a few occasions, I see that they are beatable. St. Louis people will probably say that I am wrong, but I truthfully believe Lapira is the key. In the first half of the semi, he was held in check, not stopped just contained. If St. Martin's can do this thw whole game, which I doubt, they may have a chance. Otherwise, it will be a long game. Or who knows, Lapira may have a bad game, but both of these things are unlikely, and as a result, I still think STL will take this 3-1. Like Catch said, this would be one of the biggest upsets in any division if St. Martin's could pull it off.

Yes, that would be a major upset. I just don't belive that will happen. St. Louis is not going into this game thinking what everyone is posting here. They are going in knowing that anything can happen. I'm sure they have alot of confidence that they can and will play their best. I don't think you can compare anyone in Div. III to STA but STL. They are very good - And STL beat them, so I would say, yes, I think STL has a very good chance to win. And yes, we all think Lapira is great, he probably does have alot to do with alot of STL wins. But I don't recall seeing him passing it to himself or defending the goal - It takes more than 1 person. I'm not taking anything away from him, I'm a Saint fan and I love the guy, but you have to give credit to the whole team.

Lapira is definately there best player. But if you just mark him the rest of the team will run right past you. They have talent in every position and anyone can score. Played them twice in district, beat us both times pretty handly so im goin with St. Louis in this one
St. Louis 4 St. Martins 0
