I think it may just be that Riverside has a pretty good team, and they've matched up well against SCC. Riverside has some other close games against quality teams, where they came up just short, like 2-3 at Haynes and 1-2 against Parkview. So, I wouldn't read too much negative into SCC having a couple draws against Riverside.

What's your thoughts on Riverside in a playoff standpoint?

Nothing wrong. In this game, they scored same number of goals as opponent. In games they lost, they scored less. In games they won, more.

What's your thoughts on Riverside in a playoff standpoint? I haven't seen them play, so just basing my opinions off their results, but they have played some close games against good teams, so, if they can bump up their power ranking enough to be facing a team in the 12-16 range in first round, they might pull an upset. In the most recent PR, though, they're No. 30, and I don't think they'd fare too well against one of the Top 5.

I don't think anything wrong is SCC, Riverside just matches up well against St Charles Catholic. Both are physical, hard working teams. Gauthier from Riverside is a pretty solid and athletic forward who can cause problems for some backlines. SCC isn't a team that blows out its opponents, so Riverside just took advantage of its opportunities in this game by scoring 2 goals.

Very similar teams each with quality coaches playing in a rivalry game. To quote goat: "Nuff Said!"
