USMNT have been drawn into group C along with Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Guatemala for the semi final round of confocaf WCQ. This should be a relatively tough group as T&T had a great showing at the Gold Cup and Guatemala always put up a good fight. I know absolutely nothing about St. Vincent but they will probably be the pushovers of the group.
Group A: Mexico Honduras El Salvador Canada (Go Honduras, El Salvador and Canada!)
Group B: Costa Rica Jamaica Panama Haiti Bummer that Costa Rica, Jamaica, or panama will not make the hex. Definitely the least predictable group.
Group C: USA St Vincent and the Grenadines Trinidad and Tobago Guatemala

USMNT roster for upcoming matches vs at Vincent and Trinidad
GK: Brad Guzan, Tim Howard, Bill Hamid
Defenders: Ventura Alvarado, Matt Besler, Geoff Cameron, Fabian Johnson, Matt Miazga, Michael Orozco, Tim Ream, Brek Shea
Midfield: Kyle Beckerman, Michael Bradley, Miguel Ibarra, Mix Diskerud, Jermaine Jones, Darlington Nagbe, DeAndre Yedlin
Forwards: Jozy Altidore, Alan Gordon, Jordan Morris, Bobby Wood, Gyasi Zardes
Nagbe and Miazga are way over due for a call up. I can't wait to see Nagbe, Wood, and Morris play together. Why is Alvarado even considered!?!? Beckerman and Jones should be replaced it's time for them to call it quits. I wonder if Hamid has passed Rimando for that third GK spot. Who will start at keeper!?

What a great start.
Let's give up a goal in the fifth minute against St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

US up 3-1 at halftime.
Expect Matt Miazga to be cap-tied at halftime.

Horrible start as yedlin gives up a goal with some atrocious defense. Good game as a whole though. This is what the team needed. A nice easy game to get the confidence back. Nagbe and Miazga are now Locked with the U.S. which is good. Nagbe had good touches and could/should have scored but decided to lay it off. I am completely sold on Bobby Wood. I will not be surprised if he breaks scoring records for the U.S. down the road. Dude scores goals.

Good response after a terrible first 10 minutes, but I don't think this result means anything beyond 3 points. The real test will be against Trinidad and Tobago, who have tied Mexico twice this year, in Port of Spain on Tuesday.
Nagbe looked really good in limited action today. Also good to cap Miazga so Poland doesn't steal him from us. He's ours now.

Pretty pathetic offensive display. Zardes has the touch of a rapist. Just horrific touch. Not to mention zardes missed two point blank shots. How does a professional player miss a header that close to goal? And how pathetic was that volley attempt? Zardes made technical mistakes that kids in high school make. His touch, kicking, and heading were horrific tonight. I do not understand how wood didn't get the start tonight. Wood has played loads better than zardes lately. Nagbe had an instant impact in the mid. His creativity shows. The starting lineup tonight was terrible. Orozco shouldn't be playing and neither should zardes. Yedlin had a poor game as well. Yedlins ability to play the ball in tight spaces is nonexistent. His speed also means nothing against teams like TnT who are big strong and fast. Sad display tonight. If US doesn't win the rest of its games this round I think JK should be fired.

I'm satisfied with the result, but not the performance, if that makes any sense. Getting a point on the road against one of the better teams in CONCACAF at the moment is a decent result, but our offensive performance was awful. Why didn't Wood start? Why did Orozco start? So many weird lineup choices.
We should qualify for the Hex pretty easily after tonight's result, but we need to sort the team out if we want to do anything once we're there.

What is going on.? I was a big supporter of Jurgen even through the World Cup and his decision to bag LD. But the last year has been by far the worst play I've seen in the JK era. Bob Bradley's worst was never this bad. We can't generate any attack at all & our defense looks disorganized and disinterested at times. Might be time for JK to be let go and see if Pep Guardiola wants to accept the coaching challenge of a lifetime.
