I'm not taking about immigration and foreign coaches but have any of you heard of a green card in soccer? Sounds like it's before a yellow. I know FIFA doesn't do that but have you ever heard of a state having that rule or rec association. Someone was talking about it on a message board and I was just curious. They may be a complete idiot- I don't know.

The indoor league that my son played in in Covington used a blue card that was before a yellow -- things like slide-tackling, etc., that were not allowed in indoor soccer.

I did some googling and it said the second division in Italy (I think) is starting to use this but it's for things like skillful play or great sportsmanship. I guess like a refs way of saying good job. Seems like a good idea for under 10 set but unnecessary for older to me.
