Details of the specific incident aside, here is a scenario:
1. Team A's player is found to be wearing jewelry during the game and the coach is given a yellow card for the offense. The player is allowed to stay on the field after removing the jewelry.
2. Later in the same game, team A's coach is yellow carded for dissent, and then shown a red as a result of getting a second yellow.
Is this the way the procedure goes? Seems really harsh to be removed from a game under such circumstances.

For "A" the player goes off, even though the coach gets the card
