Anyone attend? If so, share your experience.

Anyone attend? If so, share your experience. My son attended Adrian Eaglin who plays for Beau Chene. He attended the Showcase with his club team LFC Impact (Lafayette Futbol Club. It was an awesome experience, we played 3 teams from Ok, KC and Il. We lost 2 and won one. There were a lots of college coaches as well.

Louisiana was well represented at this Showcase with many teams from Baton Rouge, Mandeville, and Shreveport. The tournament did a good job at placing teams at appropriate levels, so the games were competitive. I believe all the boys teams played at the Toyota fields, while all the girls played at the MoneyGram fields. Both complexes are very nice.

We played a team from Kansas City who should not have been in our group we loss to them 5-2 but was told they are the top team in KC and the fact that we scored twice on them was awesome. Overall my son loved it and Saturday we had the chance to attend FC Dallas vs Real Salt Lake for their season opener which was exciting.

4 teams from CSC/LFT participated - Girls @ Moneygram + Boys @ Toyota. Great event and would recommend. All three games were competitive and great to play/measure up against other teams outside of our usual playing circuit. Good number of college coaches - but not at the level of CASL.

Sounds like a quality showcase and excellent experience. I brought a core group of my players to the FC Dallas Elite Girls Residential Camp several summers ago. They had a nice experience and I was so impressed with Toyota Park. First-class operation.
We are looking for new Showcase opportunities for next season. After this Spring , we will have participated in Disney Showcase twice, Jefferson Cup twice, and GIT twice. We desire new experiences next season, so thinking about FC Dallas Showcase, CASL, WAGS, and a few others.
Thanks to everyone for the feedback.

My son's team (Mandeville Lakers 98) played in the Players College Showcase in Las Vegas in March 2015. They played some good competition from southern California, Nevada, and Washington -- not places they usually got to play against. The boys weekend did not have a lot of college coaches, but I understand the girls' weekend had three times as many coaches attending.

I can see the parents being intrigued by a soccer trip to Vegas!

I can see the parents being intrigued by a soccer trip to Vegas! Unfortunately we did not make the trip -- we had a previously-scheduled event that weekend. From talking to some of the parents that did go, the weather was very nice. (March is a really nice time to go to Las Vegas -- not hot yet and no humidity.) Our team played all of its games at Heritage Park in Henderson, but they play the tournament all over town. I believe they have National league games as part of this tournament. Here's the link to the tournament website: Players College Showcase
