Hello. How does one become a LHSAA high school ref? I’m already a USFF ref. Does anyone have study info?
Thanks.

I haven't seen new dates out for the 18-19 season yet. Around the beginning of October you should be able to register, and testing should be in about the 2nd week of October.
NFHS relies on all officials being USSF certified and therefore does not hold a specific training course. Study information is limited, although a comparative chart exists in the back of the NFHS Rules book. Some links in this forum cite that chart. The changes for the 18-19 season have been published since late January.
Some northshore schools use Crescent City some use Hammond. Not sure if they do any HS specific training.

Can one get a refereeing degree online? I need links please Funny you mention this. A strictly online course was discussed at the instructors meeting this past weekend. More to follow soon.

How do you ref a playoff game? Coaches agree on the referee association to be used and sometimes agree on the exact referee to be used. This is done from first round to semis. For the finals, referees are chosen on individual merit.
