I am just curious. How many boys players have broken the 100 goal mark in mercy rule era?
I just saw the young man from Ascension Christian Logan St. Pierre got 100.
I am sure Parrish from ESA has got to be close.
Carson Berry from Loyola is sitting at 99.
Anybody else?

Currently at 50 plus and only a sophomore.

Scary to think he is only a sophomore. And two of those goals were literally spot on between the finger tips of my keeper and the post. Perfect placement.

I usually pull my boys once they get a hat trick so I think our highest individual goal total has been maybe 26?

Yeah, I try to avoid playing games where our boys can run up scores, and if they do I yank them after a hat trick. EJ players, as long as I'm there, won't come close to 100 unless he's a stud who's banging them in against decent opposition.

Well, keep in mind that Logan had 5 years of varsity play, so he had an advantage of an extra year.
Hes a special player who can make some amazing things happen. Hes been our main guy for the last three years, and we only have a handful of games in which the score got really one sided. Hes played in 99 games in his career and scored 100 goals, so he has a great gpg average. Lots of factors have to come into play to get that many career goals, no doubt. He will leave AC with many school records

Brock Hollier had 134 but played at the end of non mercy rule era. I think his senior year was 1st mercy rule or last one before and he had 54. John Morgan Eaglin was robbed of final 2 years despite being a shoe in for a least 100 goals with over 50 his freshman and sophomore years.
His younger brother is currently a junior for us... Adrian eaglin and he is at 74 right now as a junior with 36 and counting this year. If stays healthy, he will easily get 100 by mid year next season.

This is neat...I think it is great for us to document these accomplishments...although we all know the most important stat...

Scoring goals at that rate (100) is usually an achievement by players in lower classifications. It’s hard to score that many at the D1 level, which will make Bridgewaters achievement special if he can do it at St Amant. Curious who, if there is one, scored 100 in D1. Did Mullins, Garey, either Randel, any Judice, Rantz or Briggs, pick a St Paul player, or any of the Prep best XI?

Briggs did not. Add two more to Bridgewater tonight. He’s just capable of finding the net. He’s got over 50 and I don’t think he’s had more than 2 hat tricks. Just one or two a game and steady as he goes.

I'm pretty sure Eduin DelCid from Woodlawn had over 100 goals or very close to it, in just his last two seasons at Woodlawn, D2. He graduated in 2017.

I believe Cam Hilliard at Denham Springs had 99 or something close. Graduated in 16.. for sure his last 2 years was against top competition. And in D1 all 4 years.

Mitchell Williams, who is now one of our coaches, finished with exactly 100 goals. Graduated in 2015. He mostly played in the midfield.
Back then we were still in D-II and played mostly against D-I and D-II level teams. His last year was the first with a mercy rule, I believe.

That was back when St Mikes v Lutcher was a big rivalry

Not impressed with quantity of goals, more important is crucial goals that win games. If Coaches allow, players can run up big numbers against weak teams. I’m more interested in goals in tight games that advance the team and win Championships.
