Seems like every team has as least one parent that is the picture taker. I am so thankful for these unsung heroes. The rest of us get to go and enjoy the game. The next day, there is a whole catalog of pictures. Show your support, and post one of their pictures. For STM, that mom is EJC. THANK YOU! This picture is from the STM Central Lafourche semifinal. Both girls went up to head the ball.

Looks like the STM player is giving the CL player a piggyback ride. 😳

Huge shoutout to our picture taker. She gets about 600 pics or so per game. This is one of my favs. Foul or on foul? Attachments:

Whenever I'm shown a photo as "proof" that a ref missed a foul or got the call wrong, I usually say I'm reserving judgment until I see the video.

100% Agree. Very difficult to judge a photo. That’s a freshman learning how physical HS girls soccer can be.

Attachment DeletedThis was immediately after a textbook tackle to stop a breakaway. It was a scary moment to see how the NLC player landed and slid on the turf. She was a tough and very talented player as she came right back in and finished the game.

This was from a JV game this year. Our player made a turn with the ball and ran into the ref. Her reaction is priceless. Attachment Deleted

After 5 years of shooting pictures at games, it was a love/hate thing to do. I was able to get some great ones and have plenty of the for memories. On the other hand, there were the times that I missed parts of the games do to being behind the lens and not being able to see the whole field. so Here are 2 of my favorites...my son Evan from his senior season, and my favorite girls pic, capturing the excitement of scoring your first goal ever. 2 pictures by different parents, one at field level and one from the stands, taken at the exact same moment. Thanks again to all those parents behind the cameras. Keep up the great work. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

I don’t know how to post a pic but I want to say special shoutout to photographers who don’t even have kids on the team. My daughter’s senior year we were blessed by someone who had a son on boy’s team. He came to many of our games and took pics of our girls. He now does it for all sports for no payment and usually posts them after the game so parents don’t have to wait. His wife helps in editing photos,
