Time to turn our attention to the Final. Teams are set for another all St. Tammany/District 4 Final - What do you say?

Hello darkness my old friend? or Upset for the ages?
Northshore is 0-7-1 vs SSA with two consecutive 0-1 playoff losses since my daughters freshman year. Can't find any evidence that Northshore has ever beaten SSA. My head says 1-0 SSA but I’ll go with my heart and a 1-1 tie with Northshore in KFTM

This one is an easy call. The runaway freight train that is SSA is still gaining speed. Look for another beat down similar to the one handed to the other north shore team. SSA 3-0. Boom!

Freight trains frequently get derailed, and run off the track from time to time. The Northshore girls won't be intimidated, and may be the obstruction in the track SSA won't get past. Northshore in a tight one!

Believe the Matt Jacques era has officially begun in the post season. Girls have bought in. Doves earn back to back State Championships with a 3-1 win.

Somone posted earlier that the Mandeville SSA game was the state championship. That may ultimately be true but all three of the teams that tied SSA this year were on Northshore’s side of the playoff bracket. I know there were some other circumstances in those games but there are some now too.

Lots of real estate at Ragin Cajun soccer / track complex. Multiple games in confined borders will eventually due Northshore in. The effort will be off of the rails from Northshore, as well as the coaching.
However, the athleticism of SSA Senior laden lineup will ultimately be the difference on that large pitch.
SSA gets up early and holds on 2-0.
LA P4P, the lights are always on and keep those DM’s coming. It’s like catching CATFISH.

Not exactly sure what this means since all of the teams that beat NHS were on the SSA side of the bracket (at least i think). In any case, like the last several matches between these two teams, expect full out intense, quality soccer. Lots of girls who will play at the next level on both sides. Look forward to watching this one.

It's two St. Tammany teams heading to Lafayette. My guess is that the Northshore bus heads out at 9 am and gets there before lunch. SSA bus pulls out around 2 pm, catches the usual Friday wreck closure of the Basin Bridge with plenty of time to spare. They drop off I-10 at Maringuin still a couple hours out, no problem. 190 gets them to the same place. Over the pilot channel at Krotz Springs and WHAP! They get pulled over for 48 in a 45 and are delayed another hour. Northshore wins by default after their opponent fails to take the field.
Sorry, couldn't help it. A little humor for everyone that drives that route often.

Mysteriously ULL has an irrigation malfunction this week to give Northshore a “home field” advantage, but SSA powers through 2-0.

The Doves are firing on all cylinders this postseason. Field too big at UL and their speed will be the major factor in the victory.
Northshore put together an impressive run in playoffs. Major threat to win it all next year
Doves 4-1

ULL has a grass soccer field. Js As far as the game. I think it’s going to be close, very close and I think it ends in the 2nd 5 minute golden goal period. By whom? Flip a coin.

Game shouldn't be close, but it will be. SSA gets the 'W', and for the eleventeenth year in a row, a private school pulling from an entire parish beats a public school pulling from a few neighborhoods. It's comical, really. At least SSA has the girth to play up to D1....STM, not so much.
