Mourning the loss of Patricia Cafarella

I’m sad to announce the death of Patricia Cafarella today. Some of you may have known Ms. Pat, as I knew her. She was a great and generous lady and an advocate for youth soccer in the state. She was also owner of one of the first, if not the first soccer specific stores in Louisiana, Club Soccer, which was located on Williams in Kenner and more recently on Veterans by Lafreneire.

A visitation for friends and family will begin at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Merairie, Louisiana. A Prayer Service will follow at 6:00 PM

Ms. Pat was a great lady who helped me out tremendously over the past 8 years that I have been coaching at Bonnabel. She was always willing to help me come up with creative ways to make sure that my boys looked great on the field or had balls whenever we lost all of ours...

My whole family will miss her greatly.

Mrs. Pat will be missed and West Jefferson High truly is grateful of her passion for the game we all coach, play, or even have/had kids play. A true cornerstone of Fútbol in south Louisiana.
