"The first, published in 2010 in the American Journal of Sports Medicine, showed that the injury rate for college soccer players who played two games in a week was 25.6 per 1,000 hours of exposure, while the rate for players who played one game a week was 4.1."
That's a staggering statistic. I don't know the exact methodology, or if there are similar studies done on professional & youth players, but that's amazing. It makes you think about what we're doing at the youth & HS levels.

As a college soccer parent this would definitely help me in catching more of my son’s games. But that’s just me being selfish!
