With the projected weather issues, at what point can a playoff game be pushed past the deadline? If there is 100% chance of rain and a projected 7 inches of rain over the next 3 days...on Tuesday can you push a Wednesday game back to Thursday? Or does the team have to show up for the Wednesday game time and it officially be unplayable? Even with turf there may be issues with the amount of rain in Shreveport this week.

I know in the past that the LHSAA has been lenient and allowed games pushed back a day. I'm sure they don't want it to be the norm, but setting a hard deadline and not allowing any makeups is a recipe for a disaster.

Personally, I think someone should ask LHSAA today to extend the date to Thursday, as heavy rainfall is forecast all over the state through Wed. This would take some of the pressure off all those turf fields around the state being used for 2-3 games in a day and allow for some of the water to drain off these fields

Water Polo at training today for us. Will make Tuesday feel like a dry day........ As a 16 playing a 1, I am very disappointed about the possibility of adverse field conditions impacting the game

Terrebonne High made the request earlier this morning. We are scheduled to play at Bossier High versus Benton High tomorrow at 4:30 and am worried that we will make a 5 hour drive in poor weather to wait around for the weather to clear. We are waiting for Mr. Bonine to rule.

In 2014 games got all messed up due to snow and rain. Games were allowed to be played after the deadline, however, the next round does not get changed.

Domincan came in to play Parkway a day early and ended up staying for 3 nights until we were able to play at Calvarys turf field, the day after the cutoff.

Of the 32 girls games: 4 are in Shreveport 100% rain through Wed 3 are in Monroe 100% through wed 1 in Alexandria. Same rain
All are scheduled in turf, but even the best turf fields will be hard with 6 inches of rain. Those 7 games could all play Thursday, for the safety of the travel and the actual playing conditions. Seems like something that should be approved

Was stuck in Alexandria/Shreveport for 3.5 days. Day delay. Next day schools closed. Was wild. Lhsaa policy was you try to play every single day. I don’t think on Tuesday you’ll get permission to play Thurs. Agreed with all comments. Looks tough for next few days. I could see some Thurs games.

LHSAA is not agreeing to allow us to play on Thursday at this time. With the forecast bad for tomorrow and worse for Wednesday, we are faced with a 5 hour drive and hopes of playing our game in some kind of decent conditions tomorrow. I would have hoped that common sense would have prevailed.

Just pack a bag and some sammiches Best of luck to both teams
