It's a classic rematch spot for Beau Chene. Just three weeks ago, Beau Chene was tuning up for their big showdown with STM. The game was to be close and a Statement of sorts for BC. The BC Side was ready, hosting the match, and prepared to make a statement, and they could win the district. Then out of nowhere, a dagger to the BC side. It wasn't close at 5-2. The BC enthusiasts cried for more effort. The coach made some strong comments about energy. How can this happen when you're getting ready to win a district? The ship was plugged, and BC has regrouped.
STM found a goal and a way to top a perfect Bonnabel side. The thing Gallstar loves about STM is their size and ability to defend speed. They've seen BC, and they know what's coming. The only difference is they're at home this time around. STM is more profound, with more talent top to bottom than every team in D-2 with one exception. They've become accustomed to being in the finals, and I don't think BC will overcome the 5-2 loss in a mere three weeks.
Gallstar calls for more defense and an even wider margin of victory. STM wins by a 4-0 margin.

The thing you have to love about Chad is his ability to motivate his boys. And Mark and I were literally talking this weekend about how he's had to do develop/refine his own motivational ability this season. It'll be interesting to see how amped up these teams/this game will be -- pre-game matters a lot to this one, I think.
As cliche as it is, the first five matters so much and never more than tomorrow night at STM.
Good luck to both!

Game day and it sure feels more like soccer weather. Hoping for a clean game and I know that we are in for some excellent soccer. If this doesn’t excite you then I am not sure what would.
STM girls play right before this game so I anticipate a packed crowd with tons of energy. Tailgating starts at 4 pm prior to girls kick off. Amazing to have both the girls and boys in the semis at home. Great times.
