We are currently voting. There was some issues with a lack of LHSSCA coaches nominating their players on time. I would imagine teams will be released some time mid-week next week, but I can’t promise that.

Ricardeu an outstanding player, Captain for 2 years a leader on and off the field. Freshman and Sophomore year played more as a right back, his Junior and Senior year played as a CDM. Very smart player, very talented player, but most important a very good team player and leader. He was a very important piece for our success in the last 2 years for our program. Ricardeu was the first player ever in our school history to be selected to played in the all star game for the west team. Our coaching staff is very proud for all of his achievements.

Like I said in the above post, it should probably be released sometime mid-week this week, but I can't promise that.
It's highly dependent on the LHSSCA member coaches to get their votes in on time. Votes are due this evening, but I can almost guarantee that the LHSSCA will have to extend that to allow some coaches to get their votes in.
It'll be posted as soon as everyone has voted and votes have been tallied.

Yes, you were quite clear in your previous post about the timeline and possible bumps in selection. But I guess there are some who think that they can do it better or they are just impatient as a juvenile on a car trip. "Are we there yet?"

To be clear, I have no role within the LHSSCA. I am a member coach that is relaying the messages that I’ve been given via our emails.
On a separate note, I will say this. There are many coaches, whether they are members of the LHSSCA or not, that should be ashamed of themselves. Whether it be not adhering to deadlines, not nominating players, or whatever else, it’s very disheartening to say the least.
Some people on this board that have consistently vouched for players should contact their coach when that player doesn’t make any of these teams. Some coaches think that they are above the post-season awards, and it’s very frustrating.
I won’t get into specifics about nominations in certain divisions, but there are many players that had to be nominated by other coaches because their coach didn’t submit nominations in the MONTH LONG nomination period. Shame on them.

With no attached comments for the last week, I'm glad everyone's happy, on the boys side, about the all- state selections. Congrats to all the recipients and esp my St Paul's seniors on a undefeated season and stellar natl ranking

A player that many people overlooked and didn’t give as much credit from the class of 2020 was Vandebilt GK Nick Mahrle, after having one of Vandebilts best seasons ever, the GK was easily the best in the state. Having the most accolades by any Vandebilt soccer player to step the feild. Being named a State Champion MVP his sophomore year. The GK never folded under pressure, if anything he rose to the occasion every time, being through 12 playoffs games in his high school career he has only let in 2 goals. He uplifted his team and made an everlasting mark on Vandebilts soccer program. Mahrle was a brick wall and his senior year alone was named 1st Team All- District, 1st Team All- Region, 1st team All- Conference, 1st Team All- State, Team Captain, Louisiana High school All Star, and Defensive MVP for Bayou Preps. The team also that year with great help from the GK were Conference Champions, Copa Acadiana Champions, Sectional Champions, and State Champion Runner - Up. I am writing this because this GK was one of the best GKs Louisiana High school had seen.

From my knowledge he isn’t playing college ball, he is looking into playing professionally, he might go Into coaching as well.
