Maybe I'm just too much of an optimist by nature, but I also think it'll be business as usual for the high school soccer season.
High school football? Who knows, but things seem to be moving in a positive direction there, too.
I'll be surprised if K-12 school isn't back to normal functioning in August. Maybe with a few extra precautions, but mostly normal functioning. In the states like Georgia and Texas that have begun re-opening, it seems that the number of cases continues to decline each day. So that's an encouraging sign. We're not out of the woods completely just yet, but the end may be sooner than many people expected.
Re-opening colleges is a lot more complicated. Notre Dame announced today that they are planning to resume classes as normal in August, and I'll think that'll create a ripple effect of announcements across the country. I'm in graduate school at LSU, and I know we have a bunch of contingencies in place, for a wide variety of options. But universities have been hit so hard by this virus financially, I think you'll see a lot of desire to get kids back on campus and fill football stadiums as much as possible this fall, virus be damned, especially in this part of the country. SEC football is getting ready to resume normal activities in a few weeks.

Being told 100% virtual or a hybrid of virtual and in limited number in person classes for fall through Dec is being finalized in next 2 weeks... not a good sign for business as usual. I’d think some sort of social distancing guidelines for fall and winter sports is best bet right now. Nothing decided yet, but just relaying what teachers are being told by our school district right now. To prepare for 100% virtual and all schools are being told devices are being ordered so all students can have a device and a hotspot if needed.
I think by end of July with the heat we will be fine. I expect precautionary social distancing with maybe no fans etc particularly football. Guessing by November Soccer will be fine. Hope everyone is well.
