Part of the EIL Tournament in Lafayette (Moore Park) this weekend, this game looks to be an interesting one. Two sports powerhouses of the south going head to head in a matchup I don't think we have seen (someone correct me on that if I am wrong). I do not know much about Jackson Prep but what I do know is that Catholic of BR is on a roll right now. I'm not going to put a prediction on this for myself because of limited knowledge, but I am expecting this to be a fun, fun game to watch.
Catholic is also playing Walker tonight, 1-8-20, so this could affect their stamina coming into the game tomorrow.

4-4 Tie. With 2 goals coming in the last 5 minutes of the game to tie it.

Wouldn’t put too much stock in MaxPreps anymore. Scores are wrong and no one fixing them.
Game doesn’t count for power ratings and seems weird to have later in season like this? Don’t out of state opponents usually happen early on so as to be away from district play and playoffs?

Catholic's hot streak will continue on. 4-0 or 4-1 in Catholic's favor.

This will depend on how seriously Catholic takes this game. It is a great game to get your bench quality time without any impact to PR.

I think Catholic will win 2-1 with the 2nd goal coming in the dying minutes of the game. It will be a tough and hard fought one!

Strong prediction. 4-1 Catholic win here, the team is rolling right now and I think will continue their hot streak. Will unlucky give up a goal with a new center back starting in place of their hurt stud Reid Wilson.

I hope he knows that he can still lead the team even if he’s not playing. Stay connected Reid and show others what it means to help a team win in ways most don’t consider. You’ll heal up but you’ll never forget leading your team to a state cup. I’m rooting for you and hope you understand my request.

Horrible to hear about Reid as he has anchored that back line for the entire season, but from what I saw the few times I watched Catholic this year he primarily played outside back until a player had covid and he filled in at centerback. With that being said it is always hard to replace a leader on the back line especially. Should be a good game and I also predict a 4-1 win for the bears.

Reid is as fine a young man as you will find and his parents (whole family for that matter) are top notch too. Tough to get hurt in your senior season but Gallstar is right, still can help his team from the sideline.

A relatively weak performance by Catholic. Jackson Prep played Ocean Spring and tied 4-4. Jesuit just played Ocean Springs and beat them 4-0. Makes me wonder who the best team in LA is.

This assumes all teams were playing their best players and to win rather than using it as a friendly (like it is).
