Well, I’ll go ahead and spill the beans that vistajay is speaking about us. Our administration thought that it was the best course of action, considering Orleans Parish is limiting to 4% capacity. For our stadium, that would be close to 40 people. Our administration made the difficult decision to only allow our parents, and they took the stance to try and be as safe as possible. For the entirety of our season thus far, we have only allowed parents in anyway. No other fans, siblings, etc. have been allowed in. If you don’t like it, well, sorry about it. Are you sure they are interpreting the restrictions correctly? The nola.gov site says it is 4% of standing capacity, not seating capacity, and also refers you to the state fire marshal guidelines for outdoor events which allows 25% of stadium seating capacity for Phase 1. The Lusher field has stadium seats on both sides of the fields. So why can't visiting team parents use 25% of those seats? I love you soccer Mom! 😂

We are limited to 25% capacity so we can only let about 3,000 fans attend. For some reason only 1 to 2 hundred show up on a good night....
I blame the weather

I’m not the one interpreting, nor making judgments. It’s strictly up to our administration.

I’m pretty sure it is against LHSAA rules to allow fans from only one team. If the attendance is limited, some of the tickets would still need to be allocated to the visiting team. Would be pretty unfortunate to have a playoff game played at this venue.

Granted people in positions of power have gotten quite drunk on it using the excuse of China's virus and few seem to be willing to stand up to them.

I don't think LHSAA will like it. The Covid guidelines issued by LHSAA on 12/8/20 provide in Rule 3(v): If attendance restrictions are in place, proportionate access to tickets should be granted to the visiting team’s fans.

How many teams have had to play lusher without any fans?
Why not just cancel with that kind of scumbaggery?
