Atmosphere was pretty great. Man the “outlaws” suck though. Terrible chants.
Anyway, I was sitting in the corner where puli took about 30 corners in a row that found 0 US foreheads in the second half. Our corners are abysmal. Really think we should just start taking short corners and working it around.
We really bossed England around. Midfielders were great. England players, especially Pickford, were getting very frustrated. Same old story for the past year or so though: no one can find the strikers. We can say we played well but at the end of the day if you can’t score you can’t win. We need to score goals. Seems obvious but it’s really the only thing missing. Players way too hesitant to whip in crosses or rip a shot from outside the area.

The purpose of all these threads since Nations cup, was to have a little fun and write what we are all seeing with the games and to make predictions an look back and see which came true and which did not. For awhile now, we have known about our lack of scoring ability. For a brief moment, when Pepi arrived and bailed us out of Honduras, we thought we had it solved, but that was just a phantom impression. We need a goal! We seem to not be able to score from the striker position. All our goals come from mostly elsewhere, with a few exceptions, last being Morris late goal in the slop of El Salvador. Arguing who should be striker is moot since we seem to not be able to find our strikers the ball so I wonder if we even should be playing with a striker as their only role with this team seems to be playing first defender chase when our opponents set up their attacks from their backline. Beyond that, they contribute very little so much that it is like us playing 10 v 11. I would take a Brian McBride type of striker that can at least take on aerial balls from keeper punts out of the air or a striker that can cross on corners, anything that can improve us. Anyone can stand waiting on ball that will never arrive.

Start w a simple snare drum. Chant like Indians. What is more American than Indians? We should adopt a whole Indian identity to seperate us from other countries. The chant is infectious. It sounds like a cool soccer chant. It is pure American…American Indian.

I agree to a point….
I graduated college from old school NLU in Monroe- The NLU Indians!! I loved that Indian War Chant!!
We had that Indian Tomahawk Chop chant and it was very distinctive and it resonated through the stands. It is a very infectious chant too….all it takes is one liquored up Indian to start the chant… Ooooooooooo Oo Oooo oo Ooooo Oooo oo Oooooo
Oo Ooooooo
In come the war drums….. Thump Thump Thump Thump Thump
I am proud to say that I was usually the one liquored up Indian that started that chant swinging my one arm like a broken golf club!!
Problem is that now a days the SJW Snowflakes would have a law suit or be crying on MSM about their hurt feelings and how racists we are being.

Ask any of them what is more American than an Indian? Everyone knows it, and if we did it loudly after going up late in the game, it would infect pride, not woke victimization.
