I figured since the D4 final didn't even get a thread I'd liven up these dead boards.
Last time they played? Was at Parkview in January 2023, Parkview won 7-4.
Common Opponents: Dutchtown - Parkview won 3-0, St Louis lost 0-1. Mandeville - Parkview won 2-0, St Louis lost 1-2. Livonia - Parkview won 8-0, St Louis won 7-0. St Michael - Parkview won 2-1, St Louis won 2-0.
Overall Records: Parkview 26-0-1 St Louis 18-4-2
Overall stats this season: Parkview with 123 goals for (4.6 per game). 11 goals against (.4 per game). St Louis with 88 goals for (3.6 per game). 15 goals against (.6 per game).
Game will be 2/22 at 5:00 pm.
Who do you have and why?

Parkview wins 3-1. Speed , speed and more speed is one reason.
Sarah Ortlieb is the other. She is an absolute stud. She is the motor behind it all. Mix in Ella Kate Johnston and her missile of a leg …and those are just a few of the many weapons PBS throws out there. And don’t let those two little 8th graders fool you…..they can play too. .
I feel the Hannan game was huge for them and to see how they would deal with the depth of their team in such long, tough game. Those girls are conditioned and ready for what’s ahead. If it’s 90 min, OT or kicks.
Taking nothing away from St Louis but Parkview comes in with the crown and you have to take from them. ……and they aren’t letting it go that easy.
Ps. They have a coach that the girls would run through a wall for as well.

Hannan was a huge win for Parkview and their most talented opponent all year. Have heard St Louis is well coached, plays disciplined and is tough to score on. All are probably true, but with Ortlieb, Johnston, Bernhard, David, Shoaf and Guess back from playing significant minutes and/or starting in last year's championship, Parkview has plenty of experience and the moment won't be too big for them. The back line of Theriot, Guess, Bernhard and Shoaf has been lights out during this playoff run. And so has David in the net. Like last year, the back line will allow Coach Nunes to take some chances and I see Parkview getting up early and winning a close game 3-0. Parkview will get a late goal to finally put SLC away. Just my opinion.

With all that talking on the other post earlier this week, somebody has to have an opinion on this game! We can't go radio silent the day of. Give us something. I don't even care if the take is " spoiled entitled rich kids vs more spoiled entitled rich kids and I don't care". I like that take too.

Spoiled entitled rich kids, that work hard and put in all the extra effort to be the best they can be are the hardest to criticize! You want to hate the spoiled rich kid side but you have to respect the work ethic 🤪 I pick the winner will be the least spoiled rich kids, whoever that might be.

Parkview likely has the best player on the pitch. St. Louis, at least on the boys' side, has always been as gritty as they come. Can grit nullify a great player? You betchya. Is Parkview more than one player? For sure. Always tough to go undefeated the entire year, so that adds an extra layer. And let's not forget that the beautiful game is as unpredictable as you can imagine . . . as are teenagers! Here's for hoping for a great game and beautiful weather

I'm leaning towards Parkview as well. I know the St Louis defense is no joke (even Parkview conceded to St Michael) but if Parkview can get an early goal this game could open up a lot and we could maybe see another 7-4 . Otherwise I see a 2-0 for Parkview. PS: I'm sure Parkview have been quietly thanking St Louis for knocking out St Michael

Parkview warmups do not look promising on the defensive side. Saint louis attacking is quick and powerful. Saint louis for the win 2-0.

Saint louis should've won that gave 4/5-0. Saint louis is going to be an absolute PROBLEM tonight. #wemarchon

2 horrific false offside calls by AR. Should already be 2-0 SLC. I sense some very early scoring for the saints

0-0 at halftime.
I missed the 2 offsides calls as I turned the game on 15 minutes in. Parkview with the majority of the chances, but they are all coming from shots 30 yards or longer, with one hitting the crossbar. St Louis is defending well, just needs a little more offense. Hopefully we see some goals this second half.

Caroline Avery is the best women's goalkeeper in the state out of all divisions. I will back this with my life. Elizabeth Meisner from Dutchtown was D1 Final MVP last year in a 1-0 loss.
