just cause they won last year doesnt mean they should be on the list. Sure a few should but even though a teams out doesnt mean a player doesnt deserve a spot in all state.

why is it that only seniors get mentioned for this when there are plenty of juniors and sophomores that are plenty good enough to be on here...

you are correct coupstud a few jr's are beter than sr's they keep clearing off what we say . I know of 1 jr thats better than most of these guys someones saying , i can't say who because he wines!!! the jr # 9 from vch is better than most of these guys being named . his name is TJ playes anywere u need him ask the guys that play's soccer . ask nosa/ laff/ lafenier. they all know and hes a jr. you don't have to ask them ask the guy that played d2 this year he made most of them look like they were walking !!!!!!

I really do think HS coachs should give credit where credit is do... i mean this really doesn't mean all that much but if there are juniors that are clearly better than some seniors or even sophomores they should be mentioned and at least get something... rather than being like.. or well if there that good their senior year they will get something...

Be patient. Yes some of it is political. But most soph. aren't as good as they think they are. To be considered for all-state, you have to have lead your team through out the season, not just play on the team. Not that that role is not important. It's just hard to see that at any position through out the state that there is a soph. that will be head and shoulders above the juniors and seniors. And yes, juniors have made the list many times.

The first ballots have just been mailed. The list is then compiled and sent back to be voted on. It will defintely be a few more weeks.

Nominations are due to be returned on March 20, after that a compilation of names will be returned o he voting coaches, who will then make thier choices and return their final votes. The annual meeting of the LHSSCA will take place in mid April, and that is when the all state lists will be announced.
As for underclassmen, there is a bigdifference between Srs and sophomores. I have sophomores who might be better technical players than some seniors, but my seniors were more effective because they are 2 years stronger, bigger, and have more maturity. Seniors will dominate the lists because they should.
