Based on preseason schedule and performance, who is the best team in District 4? I'd have to say Dutchtown looks better than last year, solid all over the field. Woodlawn is a surprise but shouldn't be, they got immediate improvement from the Dyer boys. Who will come out as the top 2?

BRHS 3 - 1 St Amant BRHS scores first off a throw in to a fowards feet who curls one in from corner of the 18 far upper 90. BRHS scores again from the same side, foward and midfielder linking up for a wall pass to set up the midfielder on goal half ends 2-0 BRHS third goal comes off a low corner thats put in by ? who knows but barely squeaks over the line St Amant pulls one back with time left to play off a questional PK (and im sure coachray will dissagree with me on that one)

First BRHS was a beauty--great shot by Matt Schnieder. Second goal was a nice play. CK went "in" off defelection. St Amant hit at least a piece of the post or crossbar 7 times, with two consecutive coming in the last 2 minutes. PK came with 26 minues to play. Kudos to BRHS--they played very well and deserved to win. Gators have not beaten BRHS in Baton Rouge in 9 years.

Any commentary on the Dutchtown/Woodlawn game? My understanding is that Dutchtown scored both goals with less than 4 minutes to play.

That's correct a goal with just under 4 to go and the winning goal with less than a minute. Little more detailed summary under this weeks scores thread.

06/07 BRHS 3 - 1 St Amant at brh 05/06 BRHS 2 - 1 St Amant at brh 04/05 BRHS 7 - 2 St Amant at brh
You must be thinking about an earlier season because those are the last three year's results.

Any word when the game between dtown and catholic will be made up? Game is shaping up to look like the district championship will go through either Catolic or dtown.
