Yeah i guess so but with my team's attitude i don't see us going anywhere. and i think that the best bet for the four or five good or decent players would be to move on. but you never know what's going to happen in the next one or two months. I would love to stay and play in slidell but Penton's pretty convinced that most of the players belong in rec plus and if things don't improve i don't think that anything could possibly change his mind.

I know but Coach Penton is the Slidell U-18 boys premier head coach which formed last year and are going to nationals this year and he believes that if you don't improve that much you aren't fit to play.

well hes full of Geaux Saints...either they have been playin together on another team..or the other u-18 teams arent worth Geaux Saints (not trying to take any credit away form slidell's u-18 team) becasue i honestly dont think that you can take a bunch of players that have never played together before and stick them on one team and have them be that good
i think they need to give yall at least another year to get going...or if you dont think he will allow yall another year if yall dont improve..then step up on your team and get everyone to consentrate on the game and stop gooffing off because i think if yall worked together yall wouldnt be bad at all

exactly..we went in u-11 and lost a heartbreaker in the last few min to lakeview..man i hate that team...but we havent been back there since and we are considered one of the top teams in the state..so i mean that guy is crazy if he expects yall to go all the way this year
i rem in u-11 i hated houma...yall were sooo physical and we were the smallest team in the state and we couldnt handle the physical play

he's not crazy i mean he's a good coach and if someone doesn't think of soccer like he does, competitively, he looks down on them. Most of my team doesn't view it like that, but recreationally, not me might i add, and i think that he's just had it in for us from the beging. I think that he feels that a lot of the team is wasting his time and he doesn't like that.

but when we get back to practicing ill see if i can instill the same attitude as the coach and i few on the team in the majority of the team and maybe he'll reconsider.

i think you shoulf try that...you have nothing to lose...if he is like you are say then i think that if he recognizes that yall want to win and will give it your all he will reconsider and your team will become better as you play more together

that was back when my team was competing with the top teams in state.. and we have five 10 year old starters on that team... we tie Lakeview and thought we were all great for doing that but we had 2 play them in the last game and lost 2-1... that was when soccer was so much more fun

yeah...yall and lakeview were the only teams in the state that we had trouble with...and i think yall really scared the hell out of us when yall broke one of our players legs in Mississippi...after that we were terrified of yall

yeah..i think yall have calmed down and play the ball much more now and we have grown and are now a medium sized team so physical play doesn't hurt us as much anymore..the only one that I notice still gets upset off sometimes and gets out of hand is yall sweeper i think...hes seems like a great player but when he start losing he loses his cool and just goes for the player

# 16?.. i dunno i think our #15 he is a forward.. he loses his temper the most.. but he is 1 of our best players.. he does and scores the most for us

oh...well maybe thats just how he plays..hes strong from what our forwards say..and i see him knocking them off of the ball often...if I am thinking of the right guy he is quite a defender and is the heart of your back
