At Cargill Park tonight, Caddo Magnet defeated Airline. Laura Williamson tallied three early goals, and Karen Wissing had two far shots that turned into goals. And nearing the end of the game, Kelly Walsh turned a well planed shot into a late goal. The game was cut short due to the lights going off randomly, but it was a good game. Airline's goalie seemed to have her hands filled, but she handled the ball well. Most of the goals were ones that even the best goalies would have a hard time stopping. Caddo Magnet goalie, Sarah McLean played up top at the end of the game, and Caddo Magnets back-up goalie was put in. Both teams played well, but Caddo Magnet excelled in finishing. Final score, Caddo Magnet 6 Airline 0.

If I may add it wasn't even close from the start of this game. Caddo Magent didn't waste time scoring, airline, basically held on for life. and there goalie was pretty bad missing balls she could had a chance for.

CaddoMagnet, if you know anything about the game of soccer you would agree that the scores for Magnet came from shots that would be otherwise easy to collect if we had a goalie. The person in the goal guarding the net cannot be called a keeper...thanks to our coach. R there any parents out there or maybe you can coach us and the keeper also?

AirlineHer I would love to coach your team, I can guarentee you that, I would be able to teach your team something, you have pretty good players, just there is no cohesion and you don't understand defense well, don't understand creating and dening space. YOu don't contain anybody on defense and your goalie, well I have seen her play good and seen her play bad, she needs proper coaching and consistentecy. I just feel bad for some of the players on your team, because some of them are pretty good, number 2 comes to mind and your sweeper 22 is pretty good, but they don't get any help. Don't get me wrong I am not saying that I could get you to the point of beating magnet , but we could compete alittle better than you did, and against other teams we could compete better. also learning to come to the ball and show for options on offense would be helpfull

Beverly Todd, i think. Centerreff, why don't you look into it? Plenty of reffs, but there are never enough good coaches. You seem to know a lot about the game, and maybe you couod turn Airline soccer into a winning program. That would be cool. Look into it.

Everyone always says if you know anything about soccer you know our goalie sucks. And, I feel bad for the team, but that's part of the game. The goalie is a vital part of your team, and if that one person can't keep it together, then the team isn't as good. The goalie is part of the team. Sure, if you had a good goalie, yall could have been great last night, but it wasn't like that, and that's part of soccer. You play with what you have an dmake the best of it.
