Haughton 3 Loyola 1: You will here many reasons for the score. Bottom line Haughton can't be that bad if they won 3-1.

so parkview got a taste of what it feels like to get beat 10-0. let's see if they will take that out on all the little schools in baton rouge.

and why would this haughton team beat a team 20-0. doesn't their coach know when enough is enough??

I don't see Parkview whining or making excuses for a 10-0 score despite the circumstances, but what "little" Baton Rouge schools are you talking about? Yes, they have beat the Episcopals and U-Highs year in and year out but are those "little"? However, maybe this will provide their players some motivation to show who is the best in Baton Rouge (size aside) once again.

and why would this haughton team beat a team 20-0. doesn't their coach know when enough is enough?? The Haughton coach was in constant contact with Woodlawns coach Philapeck on what she wanted them to do. Keep scoring or only play keep away. Coach Philapeck wanted them to score if they had a chance because she wanted her girls to learn not to quit. Haughton's coach had them bring the ball down pass 5 times kick it back past midfield line and repeat 3 times before the could kick towards goal and they only could kick from outside the 18 yd line. The score was 13-0 when coach checked with Coach Philapeck again. Before their conversation was over the score was 19-0

tigerdawg,
out of the three games that RHS and CHS-PC played each other they record is 1-1-1.
When both teams had all of their starters they tied, when CHS-PC was missing some RHS won, and when RHS was missing some CHS-PC won, so I think they are pretty evenly matched. Do not underestimate CHSPC though they are a good squad and they have a lot of depth.
RHS won a tourney and have a strong team but they have a hard schedule ahead....they play PJP II, Uhigh, SJA, Mandeville, Sacred Heart-NO and Baton Rouge before the district starts.
