Captain Shreve 4 Airline 2 in OT. Shreve was down 2-0 at halftime and had a great comeback in second half to tie. The dominated the overtime and scored 2 goals. Huge win for the lady gators that really tightens up the district race.

Dutchtown 2 Woodlawn 0
Woodlawn's lack of offense overshadowed a fine defensive effort once again. Dutchtown's speed and constant attacking spelled the difference as over 80% of game was on Woodlawn's side of the field.

Slidell High 3 Hammond High 1
SHS wanted it, HHS didn't until 3/4 way through game. Lesson learned.

Sacred Heart(New Orleans) came up here to Baton Rouge again last night and beat Parkview 2 or 3 - 0. But I guess neither of these two Div. III teams or ESA or St.Louis has a chance at the championship once Newman gets back. Tigerdawg says they have the players and they'll be prepaired.

Well if tigerdawg says so I guess all Division III teams should just quit after districts and concede to Newman. Doesn't suprise me though since I don't remember seeing her team advance past the first round (or even making the playoffs without using displaced NO kids).

Slidell is struggling after loss of two key players and a major loss to Fontainebleau. Nice to see Shannon get a win.

Terrebonne 7 Morgan City 0
Herradon 4 Champagne 2 + assist Crone 1
12/15 Terrebonne vs Vandebilt at THS. Terrebonne missing 5 starters for this one. Should be a good test.

Alexandria Senior High School beat Opelousas 6-3 Tuesday night. Lindsey Pharris and Rachel Miller both had "hat tricks". Defense was extremely solid and team was more aggressive than in some games in the past. Injury cost the team back center mid at least in the interim. It will be good to see how they play against Catholic N.I. and Lafayette at ESA tournament this weekend.
