No argument about most of those listed, think #20 for Parkview relies a little too heavily on her right foot though. A good defender will identify this early and will try to force her to use weak left. Only a slight fault easily corrected to put into the upper echelon of players your looking for.

She is back playing after an ankle injury.
Liz Mondt, aka Mighty Mouse, is a smart and aggressive defender. She is a lot of punch in a little package (4'11") and she is one of the best defenders in Division III.

That's Opelousas Catholic. Not Ouachita Christian.

Her name is on here because another coach put her on here. A coach from a team that we played against this season.

Everyone has an opinion, I'm sure. Let's not let this discussion get out of hand. The all-district, all-metro and all-state teams will be voted on by coaches and newspaper staffs. Some of us here vote, others read the results. Let's be fair and courteous. If you have an opinion, say why you formed that opinion.

the reasoning behind why i said i didnt think she needed to be on here is she might have had a great season but it goes back to the level of competition she plays at. nothing against her, shes a good player, but when i saw her play better competition she was easily shut down and was invisible. again this is nothing against tessa or ocs at all

johnson from parkview also i was very impressed w/ the play of #4 from sacred heart.. prettiest running stride in a girl i have seen in a while.. she had a solid right foot and ran like a deer.. only area i can fault her on is her finishing ( at least in the pjp game this past monday ).. also 21 and 2 ( a defender ) from SH were solid players.. that team had the making and mold to win state

Excellent response, thanks. But in her defense (I've only seen OCS play once early in the season during a tournament and certainly don't remember individual players from that long ago) a player is sometimes only as good as their supporting cast. If a team doesn't have a balanced attack an excellent player can get shut down when the opponent concentrates on that player and manages to loosen up on the other team mates. If the team mates don't step up to take the pressure off, any one can get shut down.
