The weather is looking great too...Too bad to see such talent hampered by cold, muddy conditions.

The goals are regulation 8 X 24 - not as deep as some others. They are the SAME on both ends of the field - and if the ref is in the correct position the line issue should not be a problem. Please let the girls play and don't start anything you are not 100% sure of and not even playing in the respective game. It would be like us saying that the goalie from Opelousas last year could almost touch their goalpost because they were so short and a 9 year old could send a corner kick past the box - or last week when the field we played on - you could almost put one foot on the box and the other on the sideline - it is the same issue for both teams and all must adapt. The conditions are always different, refs either call touch fouls or let you run over the opponent without a whistle, etc - no instant replay - just girls playing in freezing rain - I take my hat off to both teams and hope no one gets hurt in the bad weather conditions. I am like Mung above - wish we could play on a good field to show off both teams talent!
Good Luck!

Neville has this one in the bag!! I guess you are officially 0 for 1 now when predicting games since the above post is your only one (as of today).

Good game - too bad the center official missed it! St Thomas More - my hat off to you - great passing, spread the field and awesome give-n-goes! Game was won in the midfield - we could not get the ball to my daughter - #10 as the midfield was won by STM. We could not get the ball up from the midfield - our #4 still hurting from a bad tendon in her ankle and our mdfielder - Jazz still recovering from an illness. They were the first to the ball tonight - allnight- and played with grea determination. We were somewhat intimidated - played strong in the second half - but too late. I told the crownd we were letting them shoot at the goal so much in the first half to tire - haha! Good Luck against St Scholastica - it will be a great game of speed and skill - wish I was going to be close enough to watch! Best of luck for the playoffs and all be blessed with health and family!

Neville has this one in the bag!! tigerfan2006....grow up? I think predicting victory in the manner you did is a little presumptuous in the fist place. Next time you predict such overwhelming victory, you may want to back your argument up with some facts or statistics. At least tell us why you think what you think. That being said..... I was not making fun of/ attacking Neville, there girls soccer program, there parents, coaches,or players. I was merely poking a little at fun at such a BOLD prediction. It seems to me that you are a little bitter.....you shouldn't be. Neville is a good team with a bright future.Next time you read something like this, "I guess you are officially 0 for 1 now when predicting games since the above post is your only one (as of today). " you should think about what it really means before you write anything in response.
