Smart dog....lol Yeah, but he blew the spread again. He was pretty shocked to see this one so close. Good showing by the Broncos. Hey Mung.....I've got an Idea!! Give us Jake's...(your dog's)...predictions for the rest of the games. Who cares about the spread anyway! This is soccer....the spread doesn't matter. Jake seems to be the one who gets it right anyway! ps....I am wrong all day long. And I don't have a yellow lab to get things right! LOL!

The Lady Spartans just keep marching along. By Ot, Shootout, or Wide margin, they are still around while others lick their wounds and plan for next year. Good Luck the rest of the way.

Thanks broncoman, we appreciate the support. Hope all got their moneys worth, do not think we could have added anymore excitement. Maybe if a parachutist had landed in the tree, that would have added more:)
Again, great stuff, Lady Broncos, hope you all had a safe trip home.

To: EA You have a great team. We truly enjoyed the game and you were a tough bunch. You had an excellent facility and treated us very well. We will be praying you take it all. Everyone who was not at the EA/Sam Houston game missed one game that will not be forgotten by those who saw it for a long long time. For those who continue to promote this girl and that one as the best at this or that, truly you will never know. Each game is a different circumstance with different opportunities. These were two very evenly matched teams in a game that could have gone either way. Both have excellent players that did as they were instructed by excellent coachs. I do not know the EA girls but I truly respect them. I have seen my Broncos come from no where in the last three years to meet every goal they have set being co-district champs three yrs. ago to district champs the past two years. Just because most have not heard our gab does not mean we are not out there. This year it was the quarter finals. Next year it is the big game. The Broncos will only loose 3 players and will be gaining some excellent new ones to add to an already excellent roster. I will only be with the team one more year. Yes those of you who do not like hearing the megaphone man, tough! the girls love it and they are the ones who count. Just for the record, Broncoman's daughter is one fine goaly. Without her, we would be nothing. Erica had 40 plus goals this season. She is awsome. However, she could not have done that without help from Fran, Regan and Whittney who also got their share. Who could forget the middle? When Peppe said I want this one or that one stopped, he called on Stephanie and Regan. They stopped them cold. That was shown over and over as normaly high scorers walked off the field with tears of agrivation. And lets not forget Mandy, Niki, Jade Taylor, Lauren, Coourtne and Amanda defenders to the death. When the ball or person went toward these girls there was no worrie in my heart. Just try to get by Lauren, Niki or Taylor. This was truly a team not a person.
Yes it was a good year for some great girls who are just being girls having fun. Lets not forget parents its for the girls not us. We tend to want to re live our lives and short comes through our girls. Let them have fun!
EA I will pray for you this day. Have a great remaining season and remember, have fun!

Great game though EA missed way too many chances starting with the field goal in the first minute. If they are going to move past the semis it is going to have to be perfect.
Pompey has done a great job with that crew. They don't miss a beat when the fresh legs enter the game and the senior leadership is rock solid.
The 3 Amigos - Till, Peach, and Ledine were awesome out there.
Give it to SH.....those girls played hard as nails and never gave up.
But hey, this is playoffs. Whoever gives up?
Good luck Lady Spartans! The Lucky Hat will be there to cheer you on!

Megaphoneman....truly refreshing to see that sportsmanship is still alive and well. It's nice to see that you know how to set an example....meaning.... 1.You made no excuses for SHHS's loss, didn't blame the refs, and gave credit to the other team as well as congratulating your team on a successful season. 2.You said that you would "pray" for Ea and their future success. That's huge! Today "God" seems to be a dirty word...not acceptable in "politically correct" circles. Some teams can't pray before games anymore in some states/areas....in my opinion this is ridiculous. It's great that you're not afraid or embarrassed to say it...TOO MANY PEOPLE ARE THESE DAYS. 3. You said this... "Lets not forget parents its for the girls not us. We tend to want to re live our lives and short comes through our girls. Let them have fun!" Too many parents live their lives vicariously through their children. That makes everyone hurt and miserable. I don't have kids YET....but the reminder helps. Congrats to SHHS and ALL those down in the Bluff on a great year.

Well put Looking4ward. Megaphoneman, thank you so much for your kind words. I will be sure to pass them on to the team. As the years pass by, game results get blurry, but that game will be very hard to forget. 22 players, at any given time, giving their heart and soul to their specific teams cause. A thing of true beauty this day and age.
SHHS = big time, class act!!

Barbedad20: I will be there with my family and most of our team. I will have the megaphone and bring an extra one in case you wish to sit with me. Don't worry about the entry, it will be worth it to watch. We will pray for a great game, that there are no injuries and of course that Barb wins (if it be His plan). See ya there and everyone, thanks for the kind responses. May you all be Blessed beyond your wildest expectations. I have been.
