yes we lose pineville in DII, D2. i think they will have to shake up the DI soccer districts, with Pineville moving up they will have too many teams in the Lafayette/Lake Charles div(9), but maybe they will split up to a Lake Charles div. and a Lafayette div., or send Pineville north to the three team monroe area div. If you look at Tommy Henry's press release, he does mention that "Special districts for applicable boys and girls sports will be finalized and adopted at the 2006 LHSAA annual meeting", which I suspect is when the soccer districts will get done. www.lhsaa.org/classification/FinalPlan20072008.pdf

We may all be jumping to early conclusions based on the present redistricting plan set forth for Football, seeing that there are 10 Districts for football and only 8 Districts for soccer (presently). However I suspect that the districts for soccer will pretty much mirror those of football. Don't really wish to see the Ascension schools leave their present districts and having East Ascension joining Dutchtown & St Amant would have been a plus for District 4. Some of the other district may get shaken up a bit from how it looks now but my gut tells me, district 4 will have some new rivals next season. Enjoy this one first then worry about next year.
