Vandebilt 3 ED White 1 0-0 at end of first half. Vandy's young forwards strike for 3 in second with ED White scoring on a nice cross and header in the second half.

Redemptorist 3 McKinley 0
Goals: Jennifer Pecquet 1 Lyen Martinez 1 Erin Gremillion 1
Goalkeeper: RHS Asa Poole 7 saves RHS record 7-0-1
Just curious. Week #1 rankings had RHS #10. This was after a tie with Zachary (Div. II school). Since then RHS has gone 7-0 with no goals against them and still no mention of them in the polls. How can this be???
Division III 1) Sacred Heart (3) 57 (Beat Vandebilt Cath 3-1) (Beat East Ascension 4-0) 1) Newman (3) 57 (Tied Mt Carmel 0-0) (Beat St Joes 6-1) 3) St Louis 53 (Beat Sulphur 4-0) (Beat Barbe 1-0) (Beat ESA 4-0) (Lost to Acadiana 4-3) (Beat St Joe's 1-0) 4) Catholic NI 32 5) Teurlings 30 6) Country Day 29 (Beat Chapelle 4-0) 7) St Martin 26 (Tied Destrahan 0-0) 8) ED White 18 (Lost to Terrebonne 1-3) (beat to Central Lafourche 3-1) 9) Parkview 17 10) Redemptorist 6

That is a great record but you need to look at the quality of teams they are playing. Record alone should not place a team in the top ten. Wait until they start playing in their district and you may see a change.
Who have they beaten? I know they lost to Woodlawn in a scrimmage, tied them in a jamboree and beat CHSPCJV (?) in the jamboree.

CHSPC JV didn't play Redemptorist in the jamboree.....just setting the record straight.
I'm just going to make comments about Div III here. Personally I don't think the pollsters have done a good job with the Division III poll. It seemed they went with the usual suspects. I haven't seen a lot of scores posted on this site to be able to do the poll justice. I think Newman, Sacred Heart, and St Louis are definitely top 3. CHSNI should be high, and probably Country day, but the rest of the poll is up for grabs. According to the scores posted recently, Teurlings lost to Ouachita Christian, Menard beat Ouachita Christian, McGehee has had some impressive wins, St Thomas Aquinas has finally gotten some recognition, Runnels beat Parkview. The season is still early and a lot of teams haven't had their full teams yet due to premier play. But teams should be at full rosters and district play is around the corner. I believe that the bottom 5 will change weekly. There isn't a dominant BR Div III team this year. Any one of 5 or 6 teams can claim that title, the parity is there this year. For Redemptorist to be 7-0-1 is impressive, but who have they played. I can speak for Cath PC, they are 4-5-2. Lost to Sacred Heart, St Scholastica (badly to both those), BRHS 0-3, St Michaels 1-2, and St Thomas Aquinas 2-3. Tied Parkview and Menard, beat Zachary (twice, one time in tournament against a very depleted team, but 2-0 against a full team), Episcopal BR 4-3 and McKinley. As I said, on any given day any BR team can beat another. OK, I'm off my soapbox. Good luck to everyone!
