Thibodaux 2 South Terrebonne 1
Terrebonne 7 South Lafourche 0
Congrats to Terrebonne striker Jessica Herradon for scoring her 100th career high school goal tonight. Terrebonne came out strong tonight and moved the ball well.
Their game is picking up but will truly tested against Mt. Carmel tomorrow. They will be without their starting goalie and one starting forward tomorrow.

Congratulations to District 8's Terrebonne girls Jessica Herradon and Britni Crone for being named to the LA ODP 91 Player Pool. Congrats also goes out to Vandebilts Lindsey Warren and Cayla Chapman for making the 91 pool also and to Anna Champagne of Vandebilt for making the 91 pool.

Terrebonne 15 South Terrebonne 0
A total waste is some ways for Terrebonne. A night where some good shots were made and some good ball movement. I thought what few girls were on the bench should have had more field time. A senior night that saw the three starting seniors score. Even senior goalie Sarah Damen got some field time and scored. Great for them but thought Terrebonne coach should have pulled back.
Terrebonne is without a doubt the premier team in Dist 8 but will be quickly tested in the playoffs. It appears unless something crazy happens Terrebonne will finish its third season in a row undefeated in district play.
Congrats to goalie Sarah Damen who has committed to Nicholls State. Congrats to all seniors for some great years of soccer at THS.

Terrebonne 3 Central Lafourche 0
Typical Terrebonne Central match. Game was played at the Raceland Rec field due to maintenance on the track at Central. Horrible and unsafe field conditions. Standing water and mud holes all over the field. As was expected the match was physical and most of the game was spent on the Terrebonne end of the field. I thought the smaller field gave Central a better opportunity to defend against the speed and passing attack that Terrebonne brings. The first half ended 0-0 with Central not taking any shots in the first half. The second half saw Central pick up their game and mount several runs but no effective shots. Terrebonne scored their first goal about mid-way through the second half and I thought at that point they let up and gave Central several opportunities to even the match. The passing game disappeared for Terrebonne and Central plays a better game of kick-ball than Terrebonne. Terrebonne put the match out of reach with about 18 minutes left and scored their 3rd goal with about 1 minute remaining in the game.
A well-fought match by both teams with hard tackles, elbows, shirt pulling and everything you would expect when these 2 teams play. This gives Terrebonne 3 undefeated district seasons in a row and we again see Terrebonne and Central at the top of the district standings. Good job by both teams in horrible conditions. Good luck to both in the play-offs.
There are 2 make up games scheduled for Monday night that will decide the 3rd place team for District 8. I will post the scores ASAP.

...with hard tackles, elbows, shirt pulling and everything you would expect when these 2 teams play. The first time these two teams met this year (at Terrebonne) it never got that far...
