TO be honest, this tournament should be University's to loose. Teurlings poses to be the next best pick. But U-high should win this if they want to prove that they are real title contenders.

TO be honest, this tournament should be University's to loose. Teurlings poses to be the next best pick. But U-high should win this if they want to prove that they are real title contenders. Good point. You got to remember, however, that #2, #3, and #4 in DII are in it, too. "If they want to prove that they are real title contenders" against Vandy, they should be able to handle this tournament. ;D For the Playoffs picture, TC-DeRidder (Sat. 1:00) is a huge game, much more so than UHS-NCS (Fri. 6:45). I wish TC-DeRidder was the first game in the tournament for them (like UHS-NCS), which indicates their strength better than the third one in two days....

parkway-1 Deridder-3 Loyola -1 Beau chene -0 I got official score of 3-0 DeRidder? Is this wrong? Loyola whipped us up and down the field in the first half. Their goal was a gift from my center back who cleared a corner off the side of his foot to a wide open Loyola player in the box... he buried it. The just outplayed us all around the field. In the second half, we finally started playing... until a Red Card for one of my players put us a man down. Didn't see the violation, but from what I hear, it was justified. Selfish play that killed our little momentum. We played horrible, Loyola was the reason. Loyola is a VERY, VERY GOOD team. I don't know how many new players they added to the team from football, but I can say that they one of the best teams that we played all year. Their keeper made an incredible save on a free kick with less that a minute left that he tipped in the upper 90 and it went off the post, the front of the post... he then made another save and force a corner off the rebound. Very disappointing. Even if we would have tied it, we didn't deserve the point... Loyola deserved the full 3 points and they got it.

And as to the players that were added from football #2 and #10 are the only ones at the moment. The other two are hurt and cannot play. That was the best game we have had this season. Good luck with the rest of the tournament.

Also, a big thank you to Goat who escorted a mom with our injured player who needed stitches. (He is fine) She is very grateful as she did not know where to go. The Loyola parents really enjoyed meeting you and hope you enjoyed the game.

Day 2: University 7 - 1 Comeaux. University scored five quick goals, pulled all starters with 10 minutes left in the first half, and played non-starters for the remainder of the game.

I think The coach said it pretty much like it was. Both teams played good at times and both had breakdowns. All in all a good game. Good luck to both teams.

The Loyola parents really enjoyed meeting you and hope you enjoyed the game. I'm glad to hear the young man is OK. No thanks necessary, I'm sure she would have done the same for me. It was nice meeting all of yall as well. Good luck and I'll see yall on the pitch.
