Hate to see injuries end his career prematurely.
We need players like him to inspire the next generation.

think you're reading too much into my comment...no connection...
I hate to see any player...stop playing at their highest level.

No, I'm just talking about the video on the site. Seems pretty half-assed.

Didn't see that.
Not saying this is true in this case, but I think a lot of players give up playing because they feel they can make more money teaching (coaching/camps, etc.) the game instead of playing it.
I think a few of the USL players probably do both. Even quite a few MLS players.

Jared,
I'm sure your camp is great. But if I were to go to your site for the first time, not knowing who you were at all, and watched that video, it'd turn me off. That's all I am saying. Consider redoing maybe?

Jared, Great job and PLEASE keep up the work. The soccer youth players need to hear from you. You wouldn't believe that some of the younger players don't even know that you can play soccer professional. I guess that is due to the fact the they never see to sport being played on TV so they just assume that football, baseball, and baskball are their only options. I told my youth girls team that they had started the WPS and that it was an option if they really wanted it. They looked at me like I was crazy. Get the word out, and I believe the what Jared is doing is great.

reddevil70737, Thank you very much for your kind words and I appreciate your support! I would have emailed you personally too but I didn't see your email listed on your profile. If you want please feel free to email me at jared@jmsoccer10.com or if you are on Facebook you can find me at www.facebook.com/jaredmontzThat is what I am trying to do with the Online Soccer Academy. Teaching and motivating players that if they "Believe in it" and back that up with hard work they can reach their dreams in soccer and life. I do a lot of interviews and blog posts with professional players and college players that give advice to youth players. Ideally I think it would be great if a player can come to my website watch some highlight videos, hear some advice from a pro player I interview, and then go in the backyard pumped up that what they do at training on their own or with a team matters and it does make a difference! Thanks again for the support! Glad I can help! Jared
