Wow
Sps scores, AR flag up, keeper stopped when he saw flag. Center appeared to be going to allow goal. Hubie runs out 15 yds on field. Jays players surround center.
Center eventually calms players and consults AR. Goal taken off board...no goal
Looked like right call from where I am.

For some reason the titles won't change on the top of each post.
Jesuit 1 St. Pauls 0
Of course, now it does!

Sps trying to push FW. Jays being more defensive, killing clock

Sps with another offsides
More play on Sps attacking side now, but not resulting in chances.
Jays not committing more than 4-5 in attacks.

I'd say that 1st offsides call (the one you're referring to) seemed more questionable than the 2nd one a moment or two ago. I was right in line at this end of pitch w/a good look at it. Oh well. Wolves need to play w/more of a sense of urgency...Time's dwindling!

Jays content to hit balls FW now.
Two long balls sent ahead into space for cabos to try and chase.

I'll defer to u M Unit on the offsides. You have the angle on your end.

It was very close, but they all seemed to be barely onsides. I think it should've stayed as called - a goal. But JHS players & parents for that matter ganged up/pressured CR to change call, which he did after consultation w/linesman.
This has been a good battle. Good victory for Jays. Glad I was here!

meh, wasn't OT, but I go the score right What this tourney I think has made plainly clear to everyone in the state that Jesuit and SPS are a notch above everyone else in the state. There are a few teams that could pull an upset and have moments of dominance (Laf., DT, etc.) but as far as consistency and depth these 2 teams are a notch above this year. Hopefully we can see another match between these two later on down the road this year and hopefully I can make the game and enjoy watching it. Also, a CR should always defer to his AR on offsides. If the AR called it, then it should stand unless the CR has better poisitioning which should never happen. I think it is unfair to imply that the Jesuit parents, players or coach had anything to do with that call when the AR had already made the call.
