For the first time, the LHSAA recognized soccer as a part of its annual Academic All-State awards process. The LHSSCA has been recognizing Academic All-State for several years prior to this one. The LHSAA released a "composite" Academic All-State team consisting of the highest GPAs for all 2010-2011 soccer senior female athletes. The team listing can be found here lhsaa.org/images/db_sports/540.pdfThe LHSAA also released an Academic All-State team by Division consisting of the highest GPAs for the 2010-2011 soccer season divided into the three soccer divisions. The link to that listing is lhsaa.org/images/db_sports/541.pdfCongratulations to all of these young ladies for their successes in the classroom and on the field

We have 3 qualified Seniors at our school and 2 are above 4.0 and I know the state might not consider AP and Honors courses but the two have 4.0 or higher all "A"s for 4 years? Can someone explain. I have asked our AD to check with the state.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the school has to submit this information on the players.

Congrats to Maggie Panagiotis, who plays on the boys team over at Westminster Christian Academy, for making the boys All State academic team.
Also for having signed with Division I - Samford College to further her soccer career. Congrats from you friends with Cajun Soccer Club.
