talkischeap, I know from a competitors stand point you mean what you say, but we all know the 31 & 32 ranked teams have NO CHANCE IN HELL to score much less win their games. And this is why some of us think it is crazy to have 32 teams in the playoffs. In the first round, for example, teams 29-32 will not only be overmatched but you can't make me believe that these girls believe they can win. And now that the weather is going to be as bad as we think, I can promise you the better teams will have their starters out for most of the game getting warm while 29-32 will still have their starters in wondering why they are out there losing 8-0 and in the cold. And then make the long trip home. So from a motivative standpoint "GREAT JOB". Realisticly, C'mon Man. sokerfan speaks the truth, but it sounds strange ("motivative" isn't in Merriam-Webster)! In the last 2 years with playoff seeding, the bi-district bottom-8/top-8 matchups have ended in double-digit routs in half of the games. It's also interesting to note that, if history repeats itself, #14 and #16 will be upset in the 1st round and #6 will upset #3 in the 3rd round.

I hear you sokerfan, in the spirit of what I "think" aliceshoe1 was saying and what was in my mind, was a mid or upper-ranked team "volunteering" for the 31 or 32. This thread was started as where do you think you fit. I totally agree on the normal progression of what happens but occasionally a mid to upper ranked team will knock of a higher seed. Agree with your response! What my head thinks and what my hands type doesn't always work well together to say what I mean. Love the, C'mon man!
